uhh all you people saying that varcoe should be dropped etc etc are being kind of over the top.

was at the geelong saints game, and my cousin and i paid close attention to varcoe's game. Although he isnt going to rack up possession or anything like that... the amount of pressure he puts on the defence tryin to clear the ball is vital.

i'd much rather have varcoe creating this kind of pressure than say havin stokes play .. no offence, lazy football. I'd even consider droppin stokes for gamble.. but probably not during finals, should have happened a while back so that stokes realises that his spot isn't so safe.

ah well, what can ya do?
