Today we were too top heavy. When we made our run in the 3rd qtr Reid and Bryan were on the bench for the whole time. Then when the mids got tired and players started cramping we lost the run from defence and through the middle.

Im not a fan of too many changes, but i think these are necessary. Rocca and Shaw are in the best 22, Bryan was horrible today and had a chance therefore Wood needs his go now, whilst i think we need to bring Beams and Sidebottom in, we are playing Melbourne and need to make a statement.
Also hey dont have many key fowards, one of Presti/Brown and OBrien

Goldy is unlucky as i didnt think he had a bad game , its just the fact cox and maxwell will get in ahead of him. Cox is going to free up heater and Maxwell cant be dropped, not that he should be just yet.

Johnson needs to star every match if he wants his spot , otherwise if hes going to be a passenger there is many more that can take his spot. Mccarthy, Wellingham, Beams and Steele to name a few

Id even be content to leave goldy in and have rocca out for one more week.

We had a poor start today, i think we will get better. I wouldnt swing the axe just yet. Obviously if heater is fit should come in for somebody perhaps toovey. I would rest fraser, he must be fit come september!!!!

Toovey was better than Goldsack but we simply had too many half-backs, and I'm advocating bringing in Shaw. Cox was close to our BOG and O'Brien is better than the other options by some margin.

Exactly the changes I want for next week. It shouldn't be too hard for Stanley to make a presence against Melbourne. Same with Beams (hopefully).

Actually, yeah, I should keep Toovey in my changes and offload Johnno. He was hard-done-by by the umpires when getting his head repeatedly ripped off, but he was still poor. Toovey wasn't that bad today, although his performances probably look better in contrast to what I'm used to from him.

He's a trier is Toovey, but his skill level is horrendous, but yeah at least he goes at 100%
