Let's just move on ASAP.

Sounds like Cloke, Swan and Fraser will all miss. Possibly Thomas too.

OUT: Cloke, Swan, Fraser, L.Brown, [Stanley/Macaffer/Corrie]
IN: Wood, Bryan, Medhurst, Davis, Anthony

FB: Toovey, Presti, O'Brien
HB: H.Shaw, Brown, Maxwell
C: Clarke, Pendlebury, Thomas
HF: Sidebottom , Anthony, Lockyer
FF: Bryan, Rocca, Medhurst
Foll: Wood, Davis, Wellingham

INT: Stanley, O'Bree, Barham, Corrie

If those guys are to miss, they'll make the minimum number of changes so Stanley/MacAffer/Corrie will all be safe.

I haven't heard anything solid about their health, mind you, but the short turnaround won't help.

NOt to far off there

In:Anthony,Davis, Bryan, Wood

Out:Maccafer, barham, Swan(injured), Thomas(injured and needs some time in the corner for behaving like a petulant school boy)

lol at Barham.... and Stanley stays in.. are we tanking or something?

We don't know the full extent of the injuries, so I think it's best to wait until the doc's verdict tomorrow.

For mine
Out Fraser inj, Corrie, Macaffer, Brown, Toovey, Cloke Inj, Swan inj
In Wood, Davis, Medhurst, Bryan, Anthony, Dawes, Beams

im expecting swan to also be gone so stanners gets another week

The thread can continue tomorrow. Just wanted to get the "OUT: Leigh Brown" into a thread.

Too early, Too angry, Too disappointed to say who should go out.

Let me relive that agony 2-3 times in my head before I make up my mind in a calm fashion.

LOL You've been hanging to say that for weeks now, haven't you?

:thumbsu:

Seriously though... if it doesn't happen this week, I will start another coup in Fiji. Bryan and Wood both in the best for ressies, Brown like an Amazonian oak tree with weights tied to his trunk that fumbles to put his sunglasses on...

These injuries are really going to cruel us, especially if those already out can't come up.

McCarthy should be ready this week. He should go straight back into the seniors lack his toughness and polish.

Very unlikely I'd imagine. Will have a week in the Ressies I reckon.

MM clearly rates him though and wants him back in, gave him a mention in the press conference :thumbsu:

Did Swan hurt his knee when the St. Kilda bloke tried to take his head off on the boundary, and also why did no one fly the flag then. I would've been over there before you could blink. Where's the passion. Protect your team mates.

Yeah he bent it awkwardly falling backwards from the incident.

Dunno whether the blokes had much fight in them by that stage.

given how Bryan and Dawes played over the weekend... should we consider bringing them in for Rocca and Cloke?

With Rocca in the team... we seem to lack the forward pressure that we need... teams are simply running the ball out of defence with ease

We seriously could have had Hulk Hogan and Godzilla in our forward line and it wouldn't have mattered tonight.

Surely people saw how clogged up it always was? We moved the ball to slow and it gave St. Kilda time to set up the defensive zone. Makes it hard to take a grab when you are contesting against 2 or more defenders.

Dawes is way to inconsistent and I can promise you just as quick as people say bring him in, after he is quiet against the Blues, it will be the same people calling for his head.

Weird cycle...

I just reckon that sort of thing shows where we're at. It shouldn't matter what stage of the game it is, how tired you are, bottom line Dane Swan is a senior players, and a player of ours who is targeted and copped something pretty ordinary, so you should fly the flag.

One little display of passion is sometimes all you need. We don't seem to be playing for each other. Time to draw the line Hawthorn style and get aggressive.

Our season is at a point right now where we need to stand up and be counted and we were bullied tonight. Time to get tough and show we won't be pushed around.

We just lack so much passion right now. Not the supporters mind you.

But it gives me the shits. We were depleted yes, but I'm not just focusing on this game of footy, I'm focusing on Essendon, Adelaide etc.

My dad sits back and makes excuses for the side non stop. It's like it's been drilled into him. He makes excuses for Malthouse, Cloke, Brown etc. Others I know do the same thing. Are we starting to except it? I think we are.

I want change. I want us to go into games against Carlton and Essendon with a real evil look in our eyes knowing that this game is a little different.

I want Collingwood people at the helm. People that hate Carlton and Essendon and Melbourne and Richmond. People with killer instinct.

We have all the benefits available. We barely travel, we play on the best surface, we have the big crowds, we have the money, we have the media, we have the luxury facilities and we've had the picks. We've been close but not close enough.

It's time to really demand it and knock that killer instict and hate into our players.

It won Hawthorn a premiership. Let them know we won't be ****ed with.
