Massive news if true. Just trying to work out where he got confirmation from

Greg Swan , Carlton Manager ......

On the flip side Hampson kicked 6 goals last week for the bull Ants and B Mclean was BOG so they have a good squad to choose from .

Evidently Gibbs spent Sunday Night in Hospital

Cheers. I thought I heard something about Gibbs staying the night in hospital. The Carlton board was saying Swann this morning said they were both in doubt, but he must have confirmed it since then

Blues have played silly buggers with their injuries all season. Frankly, I wouldn't believe anything the club says this week.

There are plenty of media types speculating to fill column inches, but I reckon he'll play.

Having it in a sling the day after it happened is just good injury management. I dare say they are icing it too ...

Given he was lifting his arm above his shoulder on Sunday on the field with no evident distress, I think Swan is clearly feeding Ralph nonsense and since he gets paid to report, not to analyse, he has regurgitated it.

Time will tell I suppose.

Straight after the incident he probably could move his shoulder freely. But once swelling starts to set in and the shoulder goes cold, that could all change. Come thursday we will have some idea if it is bad or not

At the end of the day we ran Collingwood to roughly the same margin as Carlton did on the G without Kerr and Cox. If we can't beat Carlton on our home track we don't deserve our top 4 ranking at the end of the home and away. I believe we do if Gibbs and Kreuzer play and Cox and Kerr play no sides fans can make excuses. Should be a great final.

Ralph doesnt need to be feed nonsense, he is a natural.

Carlton fans would be livid if he got a game I sense. I would be happy though.

Kennedy in doubt??

http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2011/09/14/star-eagle-kennedy-in-doubt-for-blues/

Tim Gossage on twitter said it's a rubbish report, i don't normally believe him, but i think it could be rubbish.

LOL Kennedy won't miss. Probably just want another talking point they want to create with the judd/kennedy trade.

Anyone see channel 7 news last night? They interviewed Kennedy. Nothing wrong with him. Was even helping to lay bricks for the MS Society. If there was any doubt on him, the club would have told him not to do that.

I think the main training session is coming up soon for West Coast - imagine it's a closed session?

Be good to get a report on Kerr, Cox and i guess Kennedy.

Think you will find our team will change depending on Carlton's Thursday team. If they choose to bring in Hampson while keeping O'Hailpin we will need Schofield to take one but if it's a smaller line up Smith will get the gig. He was brilliant last game against Carlton on Walker IIRC. Need his pace a big kicks because Hurn will get tagged by Robinson.

Out: Ebert, McGinnity(I would like to see him in but I think it will be between him and Smith and the club will choose Smith)
In: Kerr, Smith

No idea who will sub, possibly Darling but he's crucial to our defensive pressure and we all know what happens when the Blues are under pressure. Nicoski could be but he might tag Yarran. He didn't tag Davis I don't think so he might not anyway. Masten probaly will be sub, Kerr will replace his spot in the middle, deserves a full game and I'd love for him to switch with Shuey at HFF all game.

Gibbs out is huge. Kruezer while a massive talent hasn't been in form and I wouldn't have been worried about him playing.

Need a massive game from Lecras, play him forward 80% of the time. Move Kennedy up the ground with Naitanui and Lecras patrolling the 50. Massive x factor with them two.

Lecras will have a big one after last weeks effort i think, and just looking at Carltons team they dont really have a match up for him besides Gibbs/Russel and i dont think either are going to play.

In Kerr, Smith

Out A Selwood, Ebert

Going with Mcginity over selwood his pace wins a place
