Bobby was ******* awful, and I am an unabashed fan. Still, I think the 23 has taken shape and for the most part they’ll be reluctant to make changes except perhaps working out where our talls sit; Frampton/Cox/Kreuger etc.

Bobby is the Type that do Stuff All but Could Pop Up and win us a game doing something Freakish

Hill has been terrible the last 2 weeks. I'd consider giving Harrison a run in his spot.
Other than that: no change

Cox is a big game player and that's what next week against Carlton is. He was just about BOG against Carlton in the game that knocked them out of the finals last year.

The Big Fella stays right where he is.
Although tonight was a big game too and Cox didn't by any stretch of the imagination make this game his own. Cameron fought hard in the ruck contests and deserves a place over Cox. AJ and Kreuger definitely have an opportunity tomorrow to put their names up for a game. .

Out cox
In: johnson

Come at me
Has to be the change. Not sure how people aren't saying this Cox hasn't done enough in the last 6 weeks in his forward role to justify needing to play him as the 2nd ruck. Frampton or Mcstay cN pinch pit and Johnson adds that 3rd tall

Worth noting Cox had 51% game time tonight, 1% more than Mitchell who was subbed out halfway through the third quarter.
Wasn't a great night for a relief ruck/tall forward but his spot is up for grabs now, no doubt, especially now that they've officially decided Cameron is the #1 ruck.

I can’t seem to understand the plan with our Rucks & KPFs.

Dc: 80% game time
Cox: 50% game time
Mcstay: 90% game time
Mihocek: 85% game time

What’s the point in playing Cox 50% of game time? Either pick a forward or manage minutes so that McStay & Mihocek aren’t overworked.
To chop out the other three players on the list

McStay and Mihocek will always play a high percentage of game time. They're work horses.

Conditions didn't suit Cox tonight and I think McRae mentioned they'd considered subbing him out. Can understand why his game time would be low. Could certainly be under some pressure for his spot.

Every week this seems to be the case in the eyes of the experts on this forum . One day ihe might actually be omitted but it won't be in 2023.

I'm an unabashed Lippa fan, but even I'm dubious on his position in the side. He's lost his point of difference as an attacking mid since De Goey and Nick are aces in their positions, and he lacks the pace of our small forwards.

OUT: Lipinski, Cox
IN: Hoskin-Elliott, Johnson

B: Isaac Quaynor - Darcy Moore - Nathan Murphy
HB: Brayden Maynard - Jeremy Howe - Jack Crisp
C: Josh Daicos - Scott Pendlebury - Steele Sidebottom
HF: Beau McCreery - Brody Mihocek - Taylor Adams
F: Jamie Elliott - Dan McStay - Ash Johnson
R: Darcy Cameron - Jordan De Goey - Nick Daicos
I: John Noble - Tom Mitchell - Will Hoskin-Elliott - Oleg Markov
Sub: Bobby Hill

Frampton in; Howe out for mine

ps: won't happen but it's what i'd do.
pps: Noble is still susceptible under pressure; would consider starting Markov in front of him
ppps: would also start WHE if fit in front of Lippa
Don’t disagree with anything here. With Howe though, he has A grade potential, so I think we have to persevere to see whether he can reclaim that

Can’t believe people want WHE back in. He’s averaging 12 touches and 2 tackles.

Lipinski shades him in every category

But if people want to drop Lipinski and bring in further speed… Harrison is worth another go
