Turner out...Ahern in. Not sure about Ed....maybe LDU. More mids is a good thing because we can get more run. Ziebs 85% forward time, cunners resting down there too. Feel for maj, he deserves his spot but I don't think this is the right match to go with 3 talls down back.

At his best, Daw brings aerial dominance and immense perceived pressure. His ruck work is first-ruck quality, so he can potentially monster Richmond's second ruck when Goldie is resting, whilst keeping BBB forward. If Goldstein is having a poor game, Daw at least gives us another viable option. If he's fit, Daw definitely merits a spot in the team.

Too tall mate. Just too tall for Richmond.

Are you watching what Richmond are doing right now? We absolutely cannot play that many talls. Run and speed is what this game requires.

We really only need Tarrant (Riewoldt) and Thompson (Townsend) in defence.

I shudder to think what's going to happen with their small forwards.

There's still room for a tall to play loose in defence. Daw for EVW is viable

Marley then takes Butler
Wright takes Castagna
Clarke takes Edwards/Higgins

In order to do that, we must force them to kick long to their forward line.

Run and speed? We don't have those type of players running around in the seconds - we barely have them playing in the firsts.

We are playing good footy and we are playing this game under the roof - we need to play it on our terms.

That means we look to break even in the ruck/midfield with our pressure and use our height and skill up forward to kick 15 goals.

Our defence is excellent and as long as we bring pressure in the midfield it will comfortably hold the Richmond forward line to sub 15 goals.

Out: Turner (love you mate but you need to go remember how to kick goals), EVW (inj)
In: Waite, Ahern/Murphy

+1 one on the presure and 1v1 footy, providing we learned from the Port game we will be up to our eyeballs next week. If not we can get torched off the park.

I think however we are narrowing the gap between our best and worst and the team is finally striving for some consistency.

I don't think Maj comes in; who does he match up on?

Waite for Turner; we try to outmark them under the roof.
We try to outmark them and you don’t want Daw in?

Daw should play for his marking, rucking and intimidation factor. Let Richmond react to our team, a loose Daw in defence is something they have to counter.

Surely Brad's been looking closely at the Tiges all year, like every other coach worth their salt. I really don't see a viable path to victory on paper with the list comparisons and on Richmond's consistent performances but anything can happen. We really don't have many small forward options.

I don't know if its best to play by their game. Rather we switch on what we do best, defend. And grind out Richmond just as we did to Sydney.

Need to be 5 goals up at 3 qtr time. Their last quarters are amazing.

Fremantles lack of marking power up forward and down back creates that run. Going small hasn’t worked for other teams, maybe we should try something different.

Waite straight back in >>>> easily.
Id drop Lmac to be honest, make a statement within playing group and bring in LDU only because its Richmond as the Reigning Prems.
Scott has the chance to put the needle on players that arent :-sic' playing their role.
