Can anyone tell me why we brought in Campbell? Or better yet, Fullerton?

I’m not sure you actually want an answer, however.

Campbell is pure backup should Gawn get injured because Verrall isn’t ready and they didn’t want a finals campaign derailed by a Gawn injury. Now that finals are virtually out of the question Campbell is probably superfluous and even detrimental to Verrall’s development.

Fullarton was a money ball “Gee this guy is good in the VFL, and we need a forward/ruck, let’s try and get him” pick. Gets found out by the significant size and strength chasm between VFL and AFL tall defenders.

Sharp is a bizarre selection, played like shit in the 2s, Tholstrup didn’t even play.

Meanwhile Laser is in the bests every week and would be good to give someone like Culley a run. Hell, even Billings has been going ok in the 2s and deserves a run more than Sharp.

Absolutely trashing selection integrity, you just know Spargo will be straight back into the 1s when he is ready to go.

JvR on an in/out/in/out loop is idiotic to.

Jefferson has been getting better at VFL level recently... and JvR was tried last couple of weeks, and shows
signs of the Yips. Out of form.

I hope they put him down back, at CHB and let him have some fun whilst finding the love of the game again. Maybe he can be Lever's wing man in defence... for a month.. to loosen him up again, and find his rhythm.
