Both of these guys take time to work into games/form. Literally anyone else but these 2 would be ok
When Jones has a good game he gets injured, more often than not he has poor ones, I think he's barely best 22.

Rozee made a comment in his post game interview that he was able to assist with setting up the structure of the defence from the HB role. Don’t know if that is just fluff, but it was most certainly the best our defence has been setup structurally for a long time.
Not fluff at all, in a lot of midfield stoppages, you could see him pointing fingers and barking orders so that if we lost the midfield stoppages then we were still set up well defensively.

I'd make Sinn or Lachie Jones sub.
With Rozee going back, there is definitely a surplus down there so someone might get squeezed out.

They could use Boak as the sub.
A young guy like Cockers or Moraes and they may well do that.
I like Cockers in the team because he can play as a 3rd tall type.
Moraes has slowed down a bit but still playing well enough.
But yeah, Sinn has played fine this year but Rozee is a step up.
Jones has looked pretty good as well but might have to make way.

That's the most captain-like thing he's ever done on field

It’s a matter of time before Josh Lai takes someone’s spot in defence.
He’s an absolute gun with explosive pace, toughness and composure.

You could see in the pre season that he added something we didn't have. Our back line is stupidly slow. With a year in the system he'll go straight past the vanilla Burton and Sinn type players.

I haven’t minded his form outside of the Collingwood game. Good against Richmond and Hawthorn IMO. One very costly OOF against the Saints when he took too long to kick the ball from a set play in the back pocket but other than that not bad in that game either. Far from our worst since round 1.

I noticed that Rozee was giving directions and instructions whenever they were setting up stoppages. Maybe half-back is indeed his calling. His scanning of the field is promising.

If Sinn and Burton are stupidly slow you must be expecting Gout Gout to be running across half back.
Sinn is quick but because of Hinkley, that aspect of his game isn't being exploited.
Lachie Jones is pretty quick too.
Farrell is pretty fast, not quick but fast.
Aliir is pretty fast for his size.
Although he's not first cab off the rank, Ratugolea is super quick for his size.

With Rozee back there, who is fast and weaves, we are pretty quick down back.

I'm hoping that Rozee's leadership really gives the backline some structural integrity which it may have been lacking for years.
