A clearance winner with class and poise should definitely play WAFL.

You all know McGinnity will keep his spot right?

In: Hill, Shuey
Out: Newman, Brennan

Why though, today he was okay but he tends to always be following his player around instead of paying attention to what is happening around him. For a stopper he hasn't stopped anyone this year, last year he was worth a game, not this year. With adam back there is absolutely no need. We need more ball winners because the lack of depth is currently killing us.

With all due respect. Butler needs to go. His lazy efforts and disposal are costing us big time. Is a one speed player and can't lift when the heat is on. Plays well when we are winning all over the ground and everything is going our way.

At least McGinnity gave some effort today.

What people forget is that a team always struggles not only with a lot of injuries but with a lot of team personnel changing because of it. The side is not settled and won't be until we stop getting injuries and suspensions. Thats when our performances will be consistent and top shelf again.

Easily one of the best users in our team (not in the Cousins/Fletcher/Gardiner sense), if you're going to dock someone for skill errors Butler isn't exactly the easiest target.

Because he has speed, aggression and he runs hard all game, always presents an option going forward and looks like the sort of bloke that trains well. Im assuming that he doesnt play like a dear in the headlights at WAFL level and the match committee believe that when he gets used to the speed of AFL and starts to feel comfterble his skills will improve.

My guess anyway...

If Nicoski was available he likely wouldnt be playing.

More sarcastic, he is a clearance machine, just minus those other two bits.
Haha fair enough. Look I hope Swift comes good, and I think he probably will.

We all agree he's a mile from the Shue ATM though.

Its quite unbelievable but McGinnity out - PLEASE.

Shepherd showed a lot of dash out of packs - he is quick.
Hurns kicking was unbelievable. Bang on every time.
NicNat has looked uninterested for the last few weeks. We need him to lift.
Emac thankyou.
Gaff - cheers
Mcginnity - WTF????

Our midfield was destroyed which really makes me think about our finals chances., We need Embley back asap.

IN - A win. And percentage boost :thumbsu:

OUT - A loss

IN - Shuey, Hill *fingers crossed* if Hill isnt fit than i'll hold onto Newman as a substitute

OUT - McGinnity, Newman

Stevens and Dick played out good games for the Sharks today but unfortunately Swans werent great opposition. It's fantastic seeing Dick playing again but and getting some form up close to finals for both Easts and or West Coast

Shuey has to play and get lost trust back. Need a big game out of him

Long time reader, rare poster. Can't believe some of the uninformed biased opinions on here. Lynch and hams will not be dropped, Adam selwood won't either as he offers a contest back, forward, or middle. There is 18 on the field not every player can be top 10. Shuey and hill will come in two will go out and unfortunately for our overly reactive posters it probably won't be team players like a. Selwood or mcginnity as they have proven themselves with effort (not skill) in multiple positions.

Take out McGinnity and you have a point. I just don't see McGinnity's effort at the moment and it's been a while now. It's a shame cos last year his effort was first rate, he brought energy to the table (don't mean to sound like Kirky) and a bit of mongrel. Not this year.

Out - missing goals from in front or slight angles.

Converting those 'gimmes' makes it 106-94 with 10 minutes left.

Ifs, buts, maybes though and it doesn't account for the lack of effort at times. Our poor goalkicking had nearly cost us a few times this year and was always gonna hurt against good teams. Today is an example of that and even though we were not the better side, it makes a difference with percentage.

On the topic, the new probability feature on fox footy shows some quite astounding statistics, I can't believe how low the probability is sometimes for some seriously easy goals that even I can kick.

I'm over whinging about McGinnity, he's obviously the golden child. But I have to say A.Selwood was absolutely dreadful today. Just about every time the ball went in his vicinity he ****ed it up. Game has gone past him.
