IN: S.Butler & J.Darling
OUT: A.Hams & W.Schofield

Good in's:

Glad butler is getting a game

Great ins, unlucky for Bones but that's footy. Surprised Swift and Lycett aren't getting a run to be honest but aside from that no complaints.

Lycett has had surgery with Blayne Wilson. Season over

No resting of players...intresting

Yeah ham's is really unlucky.

I have a feeling that Smith and Mcginnity are going to be the unluckiest bloke come finals time.

Would probably prefer some of the guns like Cox, Naita etc get a rest - but Worsfold has been spot on with his changes most of the year

Will be very interesting to see how 'hard' we come out...I can see us playing scrappy, uninspired footy and scraping out a win

so...come next week...fingers crossed no injury/suspension this week (please god!)...

In: Kerr, Schofield
Out: Smith? McGinnity? Masten?

Tough calls to be made.

Mcginnity or Ebert as the sub.

Brett Jones listed as the emergency. Late change planned? Maybe he will get his farewell game

Look at Hawks out lol they definitly went with the resting approach.

Yeah hawks aren't even showing up given their "outs." Happy with our team though, no reason to stop winning now!

Don't get Lycett having surgery now though, what if a tall goes down?

Cox, Priddis and Shuey I thought were guaranteed a rest but no point flirting with form.

Will be pissed off if Bones doesn't get a farewell match.

Butler, awesome.

I think Hams and Swift may be exploring greener pastures in the off season.

I like the full steam ahead approach. We aren't good enough to flirt with form yet.

Copped a knee injury playing with peel.

I'd rather they get the young blokes ready for pre-season Blayne/Lycett.

Nait will need his surgery when we get knocked out. Which is a shame as he won't be able to do a full pre-season :(.

I don't see why Swift will. Their is a reason why he has been dropped his kicking. Works on it over pre-season and gets into the side. Working really hard for a spot makes them a better player.

I might be mistaken but didn't swift sign on for another a couple years last?

Why?
A team out of finals i can understand but you can't just give a a guy who hasn't played all year a free game ahead of a bloke who is realistically in contention for a spot in the finals team.

He has been in good form all year. It's not like he has been rubbish all year and I want him in purely because it's a farwell match.

We have fourth spot wrapped up. Players like Bones deserve the chance to be seen off one more time

Butler needs some game time and it may influence the season and the rest of his career. Bones is finished, this is a professional organisation and would be amateur to give somebody a free spot when finals are next week and there is strong competition for spots.

Not a chance!

So is it that his WAFL's form is good enough for a legitimate run or we should we play him purely for the farewell? Can't be both.

We're playing finals, there should be no charity simply because the ladder positions are decided. Plenty of West Coast players haven't got a farewell match in the past.
