And once again Santa (although I am starting to suspect you are actually Gourdis himself), I respect the opinions of those in charge of coaching and developing the club. Anyone can watch a game of football but not as many can understand it....![]()
whats to understand he either had a poor game or he had a decent game. 20 possies in 3 quarters a goal when forward for one quarter suggests he had a decent game.
you ignored the question how many did thornton kick in the first half and how much ball did he get in those two quarters while playing on gourdis.
it is pretty simple. yet you avoid answering it like the plague.it may suggest the coach has got it wrong.
i take it you havent seen the game either and we all know you trust the coaches no matter what. despite the coaches for ten yrs getting it so wrong including this yr. you go ahead and trust the coaches and heavily rely on what they say.
me well i trust none of them. and will continue to back in what i see.you know why i do this because more often than not im proved right simple isnt it.
i seem to recall late last yr the coaches were reluctant to give gourdis a game but when played showed plenty of promise.
did i say i dont trust the coaches in fact when looking at and identifieing talent and performance id trust my cousin or myself in front of the lot of them.thats not to say we dont get things wrong.
and no im not dave gourdis and i have plenty of concerns about his game. i would go so far as to say i have grave concerns about him making it, but hes not the lone ranger and hes one that just has not been given a go.lets plat the bloke and at least find out what he has to offer at the level.he is more physically ready and capable than many of the talls on our list.
what im currently questioning on this thread is supporters who havent even seen the game putting gourdis down when stats ah that filthy word suggest hes had a decent game. tell me how many did thornton kick on gourdis.
me im quite happy to see blokes like gourdis get a game rather than rehashing players who have failed for yrs.
how many games have we won so far. why have we lost those games. why have we performed so poorly in huge chunks of those games.
yet you want to persevere with players who are responsible and are quite happy to back in coaches who quite frankly have not proved a thing to date.good for you when those coaches actually prove themselves with our current list i will jump on your little bandwagon not before.
