Changes Round 7

000000 for me although I think Tuck maybe out , so in Helbig !

Jump in with my usual Edwards out. Was better tonight but still prone to make the wrong decision and is well pretty soft when the ball is in dispute, needs to take a look at Tucky and Kingy to see how to play when your skills may not be the best. Would like to see Webbers in to compose that back line a bit.

edit: Forgot Jacko back. So the Tuck, Edwards for Jackson, Webberley for me too.. We seem to be on similar wave lengths lids fan!

jackson will come back, tuck will go out injured.

cant see much more happening.

cant wait for next week now, freo are a good side and seem to have foudn that other gear they needed last year after losing key players. :thumbsu:

Out: Tuck (injured)
In: Jackson

Not nailing Edwards this week, keep as much pace in as possible for Freo they are a very good side but wouldn't say the are fast by any stretch.

Edwards was pretty good tonight. Won alot of 50/50 ball...think people are just treating him as a whipping boy week in week out now.

For me only change would be Tuck out injured and Jackson back in....pretty simple.

No, he really has been awful mate. Wasn't bad tonight but if we were looking at averages he's so far in the red it's not funny. Disposal has been sub-VFL level.

We will struggle to get close to Freo IMO.

Unless we play above ourselves by a bit.

Out: Nason, Mcguane, Graham
In: Best mid for coburg, Thursfield/Astbury, Browne

We won but we played ordinary.

silly. nason is working his way into the side now, runs and kicks goals. need the pace vs freo.

McGuane, doubt it. did he make soem serious errors? wasnt listening all game. thursfield is injured dont know how seriosuly though. moore is still injured too :(

Think they'd want astbury to have a few more in the 2's before comming back.

Graham would have to be injured, dont think browne could do as well as vickery up forward, but I would like to see how he goes all the same. so i agree here.

Previous weeks I agree...but he was pretty good tonight.

Certainly better but still made a lot of mistakes with the ball and not a lot without it. Titch, Nahas and White all had a lot of the same question marks over them.. White has had a much improved start to the year even though he was poor tonight, Nahas either got a kick in the butt by the coach or gave himself one and has improved massively over the last two but it looks like a run in the 2's is the best for Edwards at the moment.

i really hope tucky pulls up alright and stays in, but i doubt he will so in jackson
i still dont think edwards really deserves to retain his spot but i doubt he will be dropped after this game which he was ok in compared to some of his previous games this year.

Will be interesting to see the Coburg result, but at this stage I'd be suggesting Jackson in for Tuck. 2 wins in a row from this team with minimal changes to the lineup so can't see any big changes now.

I was at the game tonight and watched Angus Graham closely. He is EASILY the laziest player I have seen pull on this jumper (excepting Kayne Pettifer). I don't care how well he taps out; he is an absolute liability around the ground. I understand that he's not the most naturally gifted player, but that never excuses lack of effort (see: King, White, Nahas).

For the love of god, send the right message to the rest of the team - it's just rubbish. Vickery's chase down of McGrath is something Graham will never do.

Out: Tuck (if injured), Graham
In: Jackson, Browne

Any chance they'd give Astbury another go as a forward? Did alright early last year. Miller is hitting packs with conviction but doesn't provide a goalkicking option.

yes he does to the smalls that are at ground level. Bloody revelation since he has come in and although not setting the stats on fire, his presence is influential. ;)
