Hannan gave himself another week after a good second half, so my only change would be to give Spargo a rest and to bring him along as a travelling emergency. Smith was ok late too, so he'll get another go.

I keep wanting to drop Hannan at half time, but then he keeps doing great things when the contest is already dead which makes it difficult. Still, I'm not sure that's going to fly against a team like Adelaide.

Changes:

In: Bugg, Garlett, Pedersen
Out: Smith, Spargo, Hannan.

Harsh after a 109-point win - especially on Smith - but I think the three ins give us a better chance of winning against the crows. Pedo in because we can't have Oliver rucking against the Crows ffs, and as hard as Smith tried today I just think Pedo is a better fit for the team and a more damaging player.

Just watching him behind the play, he looks absolutely gassed. Nothing wrong with resting a guy who, remember, barely played juniors last season.

Its also disingenuous to suggest that Garlett should only come in for Indigenous Round. He's kicked goals this season but we wanted him to get more involved at VFL level, and he's doing that. Need him at TMac's feet against a solid Adelaide defence.

Smith for Garlett i can understand if there is a chance of humid conditions at night but there is no way he should come into the side for Spargo or Hannan.

Seems like it might be a team rule to rest first year players after 4 straight games (See: Fritsch)

Don't really agree with it but definitely understand the logic, it's a long season

I'm still iffy on bringing Jeffrey in. Waiting for him to show something to break back into the squad. Probably unchanged, but wouldn't be surprised if Spargo gets rested. Would love Pedo in, but doubt he'll come in because the club will want to suss out Tim Smith's value for another week or two. Bugg in for Spargo? Been consistent for a couple weeks in a row.

Completely agree we're in the business of winning not what makes us feel good. Having said that you would feel garlett would have had a good game today. I think it's time to give spargo a rest and garlett is the best option.

Yeah it has been the last few years for sure. I think they're calling it something fancy with an indigenous nod, so I wouldn't be surprised if we wore the indigenous jumpers two weeks in a row. We wore it twice last year, once in Alice, the other against Port at the G

Forgot about Vince. Had a shit game, and should be rubbed out for a week. How did Hunt play at Casey? Would be the natural replacement, especially on a quick deck.

Did he actually hit him high tho? Never saw and angle that confirmed it. Given Thomas got straight up and played out the game, i'd think a fine would be worst case
