Will Chapman be back?
He better be!

(Dream Team / SuperCoach)

I wouldn't be suprised to see:

IN: Champan, Ottens, Rooke
OUT: Johnson, West, Varcoe

is sj injured or have teams cottoned on to how he plays and did a bit of research in the preseason??

most of his opponents seem to know what he is going to do when he gets the ball.

The injury theory seems more plausible.

I'd be very surprised if anyone knows what's going on in that man's head.

it just seems more teams are doing their homework and paying more attention to him. he seemed to be moving okay...could be wrong though.

i dont think he knows what goes on in his head!!!

He is not a forward, and he won't be coming in to rest there. He comes back and does his job - as a ruckman.

Absolutely spot on!

Carlton are nothing, we match up brilliantly against them. They play a very similar style of game to us... not all that accountable, open, free flowing and direct. Geelong plays this style far better than any other. History has shown that only sides who block the corridor / play ultra accountble trouble us at all.

If anyone gets dropped from the forward line (I don't think anyone should btw) its Mooney. He has been garbage all year and isn't stepping up as the senior forward when we aren't playing great. When is someone gonna teach him how to mark? and kick for that matter.... His AA was a fluke by anyones definition. Give me Reiwoldt any day.

Yeah, it appears that way but no one could work him out in 20 weeks last season I don't see what could suddenly click.

There was talk a couple of weeks back that he was doubtful with a knee (?) injury. Could be that.

heard billy brownless say a few weeks ago that SJ cannot kick over 40m, are teams realising this and taking him away from goals to restrict his damage on the score board? i think SJ is well deserving of a couple of weeks in the vfl in hope of sparking something inside of him to recapture the hunger he had in '07'.

in: ottens, rooke, chapman
out: blake, SJ, gamble

SJ shouldn't play but will - Carlton won't have a matchup for him.
Ling should have missed the past couple of games and I fear that if we don't rest him now, we'll cause serious damage to the side.

Varcoe in for Chapman was a stupid decision (Rooke should have been brought in instead) and if SJ picks up his fitness/form I'd be happy to give Gamble a few weeks in the VFL in the next few weeks.

To use a "Ox SEN" term, you are a dead-set muppet.

I heard that ages ago - that is apparently the big reason collingwood didn't want him. He does it now and then but most of the time he will lay it off from 40+

Everyone has known that for years, which is why against Brisbane it was staggering they had nobody on the goal line when he had a shot from 35-40 out straight in front. He just popped it over the head of the guy on the mark.He does kick the odd one from close to 50,but I think they're mainly on the run.

Drop him
He needs a week off due to his obvious injury. He struggled to come up for the Richmond game.
