None of the ins except for Sheed are midfielders. So we're primarily switching around KPPs with those changes. Ainsworth is still ahead of Parto atm despite Parto's last 5-6 weeks being impressive including a notably increased tackle output. I think Parto needs a midfielder to be out and there to be no bye in WAFL so we can leave Sheed running around there to find form rather than simply reclaim his spot, plus the opposition needs to be someone we can beat while we're down on form. I really don't think the MC are looking to bring Parto in as a forward again (hopefully not anyway!) so that's why I don't see him even getting an emergency spot (because the fwd emg is going to go to Ryan/DV/Petch/etc. and not a developing mid). But yeah basically he's screwed again by the WAFL bye.
son clearly stated they had erred last year by trying to fill forward roles with midfielders. This team has named Redden and Hutchings on the half forward flanks so either Venebles, Petrocelli or even Allen will play on that basis you would think. Having said that, Allen has been playing as a back. It’s hard to follow their logic at times

Natanui isnt right you could see last week he wasnt jumping in the ruck like he normally does .
I would be tempted to rest him if he is not 100% and save him vs grundy at the MCG .

B. hurn schofield cole
HB sheppard mcgovern Duggan
C masten sheed Gaff
Hf rioli waterman ahchee
F cripps vardy petracelle
Foll lycett shuey Yeo
Int Redden Hutch jetta Oallen

Out in
natanui > Vardy - only if nic is not right
McInnis > Oallen
ainsworth > sheed
Ryan > Petracelle

Is this a genuine rule or just Eagles tradition as such?

It's a league wide phenomenon, whether it's a rule or not. I can remember maybe once this season Patrick Keane's tweets saying someone had been replaced in the starting 18 and missed the cut, and that mightve been due to injury.

Haha You got no idea. That's so stupid. Oscar Allen is debuting you flog did you not watch the news? Masten is a hack.
Where the bloody hell did you go to school? You dont understand maths very well..I suggest you look at the bench and do your maths. YOU ARE SO DUMB. Mcinnes got Dropped you dick.. Vardy is on the bench and so is Oscar Allen who they said would debut. Go back to school.
another rational discussion...what a charming man... or boy perhaps..?

or just exorcising his football demons and abusing at random...? collateral abuse?

Could be that.

I like how he's insisting Allen will debut based on some news report. Allen didn't even get his own sentence in the club's article on the inclusions, I don't think that bodes well for him.

Pardon my intrusion , But The guy trashing jake Waterman , Needs to remember he is only 19 yrs old playing in his first season , His form in the first half of the the season was very encouraging ,And long term i think he is going to be a very good player for your club. Sure he has struggled a bit since the bye but young Talls take a little longer . And he did miss a lot of footy with his injury issues

Yeah, we all know it. That's why most of us just stay quiet until the crazy stops, and then we carry on with our chat as normal.
Jake had a huge start to the season for a rookie and made real contributions to our hot start. We all know he's a keeper. (Good to know it's clear from the other end of town as well of course)

I think west coast tell the players who is playing

Family members are often told of new players on debut and so on

The 22 are known

I think sheed needs to play
Bring in vardy as forward ruck option

Pets ...no ...doesn’t know how to get enough ball yet

Sensible post. A few people have also noticed that Jake had Jack D. and Josh K. to take a bit of heat on his behalf prior to the bye also. It's a different proposition playing forward when opposition defences have a lot less to worry about and you are only a young KPP.
