I reckon Slatts should be kept in the side. He can fill the spot in the backline for Mcviegh, while Mark goes to the foward line.
J.Jonhson also should be in along along with Winderlich.

Didnt Sheeds say the other day JJ was gonna play a couple of more games in the 2's before being ready for selection?

Heffernan was better than Slattery.
Bolton and Bradley out.
Bolton looked ok today but is clearly not up to the pace of the game when hes trying to get the ball. Could only be used as a run with for taller athletic types from here on end. Bradley's game was crap.
NLM, Hille and Winders will come in if they are available.

Whatever the case, Bradley and Bolton MUST be dropped in a slab of changes, because Essendon fans deserve to see our best 22 out there!

At least Johns did something today.
Had 2 shots at goal..........and made the most of both opportunites!
If you try and make a case that he didn't do anything else just look at Lucas and even Lloyd who got a couple of opportunist goals.

Yeh i thought he played alright and they were both superb goals (and think he will be a very good player), but i just can't see it working week in week out whilst LLoyd, Lucas and even Laycock/Hille in the team, It's too top heavy. We need to clear the forward line for Lloyd and Lucas and have Davey patroling around the forward line. They need space to lead, and i havn't seen that happening alot this season.

Well they've got 9 days, so i think they should be fine, not too sure on Hille actually, i thought it was a "bruised chest" but now its a hammy, so he'd be in doubt. With Hille out, it's a huge loss, because we havn't really got a good 3d ruckman (besides Ryder, but i it's better when he's in the backline), so Laycock has to carry the ruck duties by himself and it look's to me he cant handle it all by himself. Hope Hille comes back very soon, because without him, our ruck department doesn't look in very good shape.
