I’ve written off Thomas, Ladhams, Neade, Barry, Trengove, Snelling, Hewett, Toumpas and McKenzie.

Re Motlop - have been waiting for him to show us some of his previous Geelong form. One split second in the first Showdown is all we have got! Sooo disappointing.

yes he missed that goal, but Robbie Gray has won us more games of his own boot than the rest of the side combined and will go close to being our greatest ever AFL player. Its just a shame the rest of the club (player and coaches) will cost him the chance to win a Norm smith and premiership because they'd all but seal it form him.

We must look at our mids be because they fail us. They again lost the contested possession count. We should be bold and Drop Boak, yes he is a good captain, but as a footballer he is a liability, his disposal is crap, his decision making is crap. Sam Gray should never play again, did nothing but failed to make the distance kicking from what 40 ?

Boak for SPP ? Spray for Snelling.

Frampton for Dixon.
Trengove for Houston if unfit ? Previously mentioned Bonner but Trengove may be more like for like. Less run and gun, more composed.
Hope like hell Ryder can play, even if Frampton does 80% of the rucking. Maybe can bring in Hombsch for Ryder and swing Howard forward against Essendon but Coxs height could kill us.

Frampton will be named in the squad but Ryder will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness. He will be selected ahead of Billy.

Lindsay Thomas will be selected to replace Dixon because we will try and unbalance Collingwood's undersized defence with an undersized forward line.

The cupboard is extremely bare. We started the season in good shape regarding injury and the wheels have well and truly come off now. Hartlett was just the beginning.

The changes will not make a difference, we've exhausted our options.

The worst part about all of our injuries is how many of them are simply bad luck. Almost none of them have been due to poor conditioning. Even Pittard's in the pre-season was a freak accident getting pushed at precisely the wrong time which put unnatural force on his tendons attaching behind the knee. All of his occurrences since have been that same tendon flaring up. It hasn't been the muscle at all. He'll be fine with rest over the off-season but he's going to be carrying it till then.

We don't need another Dixon. We need a better version of him. I ain't that special.

Ken is gonna bring back Neade to play FF. he has been dying to get Neade back into the side before September. Neade at FF is a de rigueur selection for Ken.

If Ryder is ok I still reckon Frampton must come in so that Paddy can play forward.

If Ryder doesn't get up Howard plays forward. Cox is an issue down back for us but Howard could present the same issue for them. Howard is the only option on our list who is capable of kicking goals and clunking marks with any degree of reliability.
AJ got on the goal sheet but was just lucky. Shit himself too often and wasn't clean enough. Farrell about the same.
