Sweet memories.

Year 7 of not developing a promising tall forward.
whine when people arent picked on form, whine when someone isnt picked despite lack of form. Cant play players based on just potential or well end up like gold coast

The club’s been a sucking wound for 12 years.

The specifics don’t matter anymore.

We Exist To Pay Ken’s Mortgage.

Also lord knows why you would raise the name of a player that supports Tribeys argument.
Because butcher was another promising young forward who never lived up to his potential. Just because a player has potential doesnt mean he should play without persistently performing in the lower level.

Not sure why people are naming Broadbent. Playing SANFL was a big step forward for him but I highly doubt he's AFL ready.

Only he can answer that. But if he says he's ready then I'd play him. He had a blinder against the baby crows (do they have a name??) and it is clear his teammates like playing with him.

He was in the AFL team 4 weeks ago.

Had 2 weeks rest, then played 2 SANFL games, dominated in the latter game. If he’s out there, he’s available for selection. He’s not coming back from a broken leg, he just needed a breather.

The forgotten man ... Mayes surely gets a game with all the outs this week. MCG for be perfect for his running game, down back or on a wing.

I know but two weeks rest for a guy that was listed as being out indefinitely really means nothing. It's all speculation on our behalf. If he says he's ready then fine but I wouldn't count on it.

Personally I wouldn’t pick him yet because I’d rather swing Howard back to cover Burton and fit Ladhams/Marshall in to cover Howard and Eberts 2nd, 3rd tall spots. (I’m counting Hoff as a utility/roamer rather than a forward)

Also Houston and Duursma would probs be in for Wines/Sutcliffe.

Hinkley dropped AJ straight after the first showdwon. That was like an admission he got that wrong.

I'm expecting him to drop Sutcliffe. Another admission of getting it wrong coming up.

All these injuries are going to mean that Spudcliffe keeps his spot, aren't they? Get stuffed Port.
He’s not a spud..he did ok but the other players took their eyes off the ball

Might as well try to expose a few more players to AFL. In my opinion the season is shot anyway. Although being terrorised by Richmond might not be the best for their psyche,
