Say we get rid of Gardiner, KK, one of Hank/McCarthy, Lonergon.. that isnt going to leave us with much room to move.

here's how I reckon it will go

Out: Kingsley, Gardiner, McCarthy, Lonergan
In: Hawkins, Grima (or at least keep him on the rookie list), plus another draftee...

It's clear that none of those four blokes are going to improve to the extent that they'll take us to a flag, so there isn't any point in keeping them around. It's better to cut our losses and bring other players who might. Playing it safe and keeping these blokes around is only going to see how club remain where it is- middle of the rung... I'd rather the club be bold as oppsed to keeping it's head in the sand regarding players who aren't going to win us the big one.

Honestly I think if scenario 2 happened we have no chance. If scenario 3 occured we have little chance. If scenario 1 occured I think we could still beat a lot of teams on our day. Even with Kingsley, McCarthy and Gardiner gone we still have too many KP forwards compares to the other positions.

I'm surprised Gaz came up - I guess I didn't know that his injury was so minor. I just hope he really is 100%.

Interesting to see KK in the team. He'd bloody well better produce the goods, I don't care how many he's kicked in the twos, it's time for him to make a real contribution. Hopefully Moons came keep the inner moron under control for once, too!

If KK plays, who is coming out of the side?? With 3 guys coming back and only 1 listed out (Bartel), he aint playing.
