A mixed bag. Glad to see West getting a go and I hope Luke Edwards plays as well as Harry.

Credits in the bank for our complacent seniors is much more than a meme.

I wonder if the eagles will ever publish how many credits these players have in the bank?

I have asked that same question in the ask simmo question request but for some reason it hasnt made the cut… maybe next week.

Throw Yeo back.

Cripps back to only half forward/forward duties (he's played a lot further up the ground)

Hutchings comes in to tag Laird and we play West as a genuine midfielder.

I liked Cripps physicality last week, at least he showed aggression and didn't wilt. Needs some support.

Good to see West in for a change, has a bit of aggression and speed through the congestion. Will fight to impress no doubt, hope it's the start of a good career and he blossoms into the role.

I don't really think the loss to the Kangaroos was as bad as the 2 weeks that preceded it. It was below par, but not shockingly bad when you look at the Kangaroos form recently. There is a lot wrong with the team still so I sort of had a feeling we'd lose.

Cripps was just a momentum killer on so many occasions between fumbling and poor finishing - I know he’s not Willie Rioli around goal but as a small forward he needs to nail his opportunities more to impact the scoreboard himself and help his team mates get goals - literally what he was excellent at when he was at his best. I honestly like him as a player and really rate his best footy, but he has not been near that for a couple of years now - he might have simply peaked.

Excited to see what West can bring to the table - I’m sorta expecting a Mark Hutchings type of hard working mid - he’s not a champ but he can be a good addition to the midfield and is in the right age bracket for what we need out there. I think his ceiling/best case scenario is probably Jack Redden level which would be very handy.

The loss to the Roos was less of an absolute spanking than the Sydney game definitely but I think that had more to do with the opponent. Very little worked for the Eagles despite controlling big portions of the game - I actually felt the mids worked better than they have in weeks but up forward with the exception of Kennedy and down back with the exception of Hurn were just awful - Darling, Ryan, Cripps, McGovern, Rotham, Barrass etc we’re very poor - the first 4 names were basically liabilities for the majority of the game which is tough to carry when they are meant to be stars or reliable senior players.

Just hoping to see what West can bring (if he plays), regardless of the outcome.
Don't have any great expectations on Hutch if he plays, I mean really?
