Cam Cloke is our Quentin Lynch - He adds a lot more than his ability would let you expect.

He is our only option as a physical ruckman, and we're most definitely going to need him against Brisbane's rucks. Charman is physical first and a decent ruckman second - He will try to work Josh over physically, and to have Cam as a second option, who is most definitely willing to match it physically, will be important.

cam cloke is terrible.ben davies disposal last 3 games he has been has been terrible dont think he will last carra always comes goood when everyone says he is struggling he mite play 3 or 4 bad games but then hell put in 2 great ones .he is travelling ok

I don't see how 8 disposals, 4 clearences in 48 minutes of football is terrible.
How many times did he go up for the mark and not even get hands on the pill. How many marks did he actually drop. The guy is a dropkick.

It could read

35 hitouts, 25 possies, 15 marks, 5 goals and he would still be abused by these same idiots

Seems everyone expects the world of kids these days its a bloody joke. If they dont dominate in their first few games they are a dud

FFS he is 21, he could still play 250 games yet is written off by many

Has improved greatly this year and when ever he does lose a tap they never, ever get an easy clearance, if they get it at all, was very impressed with his 2nd efforts on Friday night and to go with those stats he had 4 tackles as well

BTW I do find it funny seeing him criticised for dropping a mark or 2, if I remember correctly every player on the ground was dropping it and slipping up all night, even Bucks and Jimmy

Your constant sticking up of Jason and Cameron is tiresome eddiesmith.

They are crap footballers, get it into your head.
You and everyone elses bagging of them is getting tiresome

They are AFL footballers, they are better than you, they will be on AFL lists for the next 10+ years, get that into your head

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

dids4, Richmond would take Jason and Cameron in a flash.

I like Cam Cloke. He will be a fine player IMO.
Whereas Jason might need to find other avenues, because he will struggle to find a spot in the Collingwood side. He will be heading to Punt Road next year. Lock it in!

Yeah the thing with Cameron Cloke is that he probably just needs to do a Dane Swan very soon, just knuckle down and concentrate on his footy alot more, if he did that i think he could be very good for us.

Quite staggering how some of our own supporters continue to rip into the Clokes even when we're winning. To these people I would ask do we delist them for some nondescript skinny junior he won't be close to ready for senior football when a bunch of injuries hit?. If you thing the answer to this is yes then you're officially an idiot. There is and will always be a direct correlation between experience and results and I suspect those people calling for the Clokes heads are the same people who wanted Leon out the door. Both Cam and Jason have yet to clock up 100 games but we have plenty who have, and that makes a huge difference as our 2006 results indicate. They're still in their early twenties so give it a rest and stop embarrassing yourselves because going around screaming "the sky is falling" only earns you the monicker of fool.

All summer long I was telling guys at my cricket club that given a decent run with injuries we could make the eight. The response from non Collingwood supporters was was "The Pies are shyte". Well thanks for that brilliant piece of insight and analysis but can you tell me why we are shyte? The usual response to that question was cricket's chirping. Which leads me to this question, can some of the 'professors' tell me why Jason 24 & 70 games and Cam 21 & 21 games are so terrible? Or are they just victims of today's "I want it all and I want it now," fast food generation?

PS Can recall Cam spanking both King (a guy we have traditionally stuggled with) and Ottens last year as a twenty year old when we were gossly under manned. Seems to me YOUNG Cam is coming along nicely but some obviously disagree. There is a very long list of teenage ruckmen who come in and dominate straight away!!!

Taz will go for a couple. Spew cause the lions struggle to match up on him when the full list is in. T. Cloke & give pendles a run. give thomas a rest & leave cara in the side. This match is going to be harder then I thought going back a couple of weeks ago.

it scares me that you cant see it, but ill put it as simply as i can-

jason cloke
- cant kick a drop punt
- cant hit a target
- is slow
- has played probably 2 good AFL games in about 4 years

cameron cloke
- cant mark
- has no football brain
- hold onto the ball for FAR too long
- is terribly, terribly slow - even for a big guy
- i cant recall him ever playing a good AFL game

i could go on for years about jason, so be thankfull im in a lazier than normal mood.

Presti back and Wakelin if fit.
Davies dropped – probably the only ordinary player on Friday night apart from maybe Rhyce who has an excuse. I’d like Rhyce to stay in. I’m struggling to find someone else to drop.
Against Brisbane I’d probably drop Caracella. He’s soft and they know it and we have a couple of smaller forwards in form anyway. It Tarrant gets a week another forward probably should come in – Travis would be the obvious choice.
I think it might be time to do a Thomas for Pendlebury swap.

Cameron Cloke has been ordinary in his games this year. I can see why he’d get dropped but we have to have another ruck option given Rocca can’t do it. Richards has not looked up to it and provides nothing outside of the ruck. Fanning is just not a footballer at this point. Hall hasn’t shown anything. I don’t see any real options unfortunately. Respective ruck ability aside, only Cameron Cloke has the body and attitude to avoid what Brisbane ruckmen do to us when it matters.

More like, you could go on but the :D:D:D:D you have written so far is miles off the mark and any more and you would look like an even bigger d*ickhead

Richards played very good for Willy from reports. Especially his around the ground work. Would probably need to put in another good performance though.
I dont know why. Bloody Fanning is just as good as Cameron Cloke

lol.. Get serious!

In all seriousness, Fanning will struggle to find a spot in the team, now Richards is starting to perform at Williamstown. David is fourth in line IMO.
