Prediction Changes vs Brisbane

You make the point for him to be dropped. We agree it was stupid to play him because you expect him to have a form problem after concussion. All the more reason to play him in the twos.

Or give him the week off against Carlton and bring him in against Brisbane?

Dropping your sole KPF prospect without a viable replacement, when your provisional blue chip is potentially cooked, is peak-Port.

And surprise surprise, he's struggling today in the 2s because the nature of the game at SANFL level makes it difficult to play his role. He's not getting the opportunity to develop or to get into a rhythm because the quality of the ball coming in is garbage and it's a defensive quagmire.

So now he's zero chance of coming in next week and the narrative will go on and on about how maybe he's not good enough and how he needs to achieve X/Y/Z before he gets picked.

(After getting dropped for round 3 2014, Butcher was leading the Ken Farmer at the midpoint of the season.)

Hinkley grinning like a Cheshire cat after being 'proven right' for dropping him.
