Those have to be the best changes we've made all year, it's almost like they've come straight here & let us pick the ins/outs.

If we can't win with that team selected there must be some serious confidence issues in the playing group.

Now for Kane Mitchell to be SUB and Ah Chee given a proper game.

Krak being sub wouldn't be a bad thing. Can play both ends or even midfield if it isn't for very long.
Either that or Mitchell for late run. I don't think the big midfielders like Moore/AhChee are as effective as sub.

Wow 5 changes, totes amazeballs as the young and feckless might say.

Would have liked to see one extra tall - Butcher or Harvey - come in but can't complain about the ins. So pleased to see Ah Chee and Moore get their chance, not even fussed by Mitchell's inclusion.

I knew Moore was an in as soon as I saw Chef Moore on the Port website.

In general I would not like to see that many changes for one game but with Trengove returning from injury, Paul Stewart and Matt White doing hammies and Sam Gray and Aaron Young stinking it up something had to give. Maybe the only one that could have had an extra week was Aaron Young although the players who are to come in should be given at least one AFL game before we play a top team. Not that Carlton can be underestimated. Despite their position and results they are still capable of causing an upset. It was a couple of brain explosions that cost them against the cows. And although our goalkicking has been straight the last few games it was pretty off the last game we played at the MCG. Would like Mitchell to be the sub, I think this is the kind of position he can specialise in. You don't necessarily put what you consider your best 22 on the ground straight away, consideration has to be given to how they can do the most damage. Such as in a good deal of soccer games where the best player is often kept back for the last 15 minutes of the game.
To sum it up, I am pretty pleased with the changes, just wish some of them had been made earlier so that all 5 did not have to be made at once.

Ryder, Polec and White over Mitchell, Hoon and one of Moore, Jonas or Krak (from the last three depending on match ups), but certainly the closest were going to get for weeks at least.

If we can't win and win well then it's time to look at who to trade out / delist very aggressively.

Krak will start I suspect with a view to Ah Chee coming on in the final quarter again. Not a bad thing Ah Chee still looks good as sub with Moore dropping into Stewart's spot forward of centre.

What is this strange feeling I am feeling? I am so happy with the selections. It's like every selection that I wanted happened. Woohoo. I knew selection night was going to work out when I saw Moore was becoming a celebrity chef!

Good to see Trengove back but I think Tom Jonas is lucky to stay in the side.

Once more we turn to Kane Mitchell to save us. I am not convinced that Mitchell is an AFL footballer but at least he has the form in the SANFL.

Krakouer, Moore and Ah Chee are good inclusions.

Not sure how we will line up but some of those published placings are a little eye raising.
