Glad I'm not the only one who saw this. Tough little AFL ready nugget he is.

Half the others who have posted on here want him out for some reason. I haven't seen his game tonight coz I missed the second half, but he's hit more targets by foot as the sub last week than Selwood has in a whole game from what I saw...

Let me guess..... was he putting lace out bullets onto Kennedy's chest again?

And nobody says a thing!

Didn't see it but radio said it was a significant wrist injury to Tippett.
Tippett went for a ruck knock and clutched for his wrist, and then ran straight for the boundary line. His fingers and hand was already heavily bandaged and he looked in quite ambit of pain. The way he reacted, the commentators thought he may have a broken wrist.

Tippett isn't my biggest concern for next week, having someone who is remotely strong enough to stop Buddy now the Gov is out is a big concern. At least if Tippett is out, there is only one big body to worry about.

I also think Selwood will be injured next week. He hobbled off with what looked like an ankle. I thought he would get subbed, but then Gov ran to the sidelines. Selwood's history with ankles may give the selectors an excuse not to pick him. Ellis also potential to be left out with injury.

In: Barrass (only way you find out if he is ready is if you play him), Butler, Colledge (how did he go in the WAFL today) or Nelson
Out: Gov (injured), Selwood (form ... Oh, I mean injured ankle), Ellis (injured)

I would've thought Schofield would be the man the coaching staff favoured to play on Buddy regardless of whether McGovern was available.
Tippett being out makes it more difficult for them to stretch us in their forward line.
Sheppard plays on Goodes, Reid is forced to play back because Richards is suspended. All of a sudden their forward line is severely limited.
Plus it means that Naitanui should have a ridiculously decisive advantage in the ruck (assuming Pyke isn't returning).
Nankervis could only manage 13 HOs against McEvoy and Hale.
What do you think Naitanui will do to him?
All in all, if Tippett is out next week I think it is massive. Even if he isn't a particularly damaging player, we are provided with advantages all over the field all of a sudden.

Will probably go 20 & 3 with a BOG performance.

No need to bring anyone in to replace McGovern, because we have Schofield about to go Super Saiyan and he will win the brownlow too. Schofield has been holding back this year because it's important that others are playing to develop their game. Franklin won't get a possession and Schofield will run off him all game and kick goals. Schofield will impregnate Buddy, somehow. I'm way too drunk but this makes more sense than anyone expecting Sinclair or McInnes or Darling to go back.

WHY DO WE ALWAYS VS TEAMS THAT HAVE BEEN IN RED HOT FORM OR BEEN SMASHED. BUT THE GOOD THING IS THAT WE WIN THEM ALL.

The team have won 11 out of the last 12 so expect the changes to be injury only related.

McGovern looks like he will not get up = Barrass finally gets a start. Has been dominating in defence at EP for the last 2 months and this call up is overdue. Unfortunately he is set to debut against Turdpit but I expect him to step up. Simpson endorsed that he was ready and knows how to play the team defensive structures so that all bodes well.

3 players came away hurt in Selwood, Ellis and Hill.

If all three are available, expect one of them to start as sub as Hutching looked pretty good when he came on as sub in the last 2 games and deserves a start.

If any of the three are out, expect Butler to come in (provided fit).

Boy that escalated quickly.
Last night, the bad man punted Baxter (a few times)...and they still lost. They really don't have anyone else. Tip rat was in a glass case of emotion the whole night. The best thing their whole defence did was eat a whole wheel of cheese and poop in the refrigerator.

I didn't say the Gov would play on him, I said he was strong enough to stop him. I would think one-on-one, Schofield will get rag dolled by Franklin. Now without the immovable body of Gov filling a hole or going third up, schofield will have to play out of his skin or the person going third up will have to do a great job. But time will tell, our smallish back line has been playing above themselves anyway, so another challenge.

Thanks for the rest of your thoughts, it will be interesting to see how Sydney lines up assuming the outs they could have.
