The number 1 thing is to win a game of footy. Agree?
Then blooding players for experience is not a criteria Agree?
Players form is considered to go up or down. Agree?
Players going up have to be able to fit the game plan, structure what ever you want to call it. Agree?
So a player going up has to have form and fit the role to fit into the game plan, stucture? Agree?
So should a player with good form go up if does not fit the role for the game plan?
If you say so Ken.

I'm sure the Dangerwood and Buddy coaches won't agree with you though.
Surely the game plan is at least partially based on the player strengths and weaknesses?
Surely one also looks to the future?
Surely there is some flexibility in any game plan?

I am pretty confident Eddy will be playing on the MCG this week.
Good, it looked like Ken finally came to the realisation last weekend it wasn't working when he moved Ryder almost permanently forward for the last half after Dixon was getting beaten by an up and coming kid & Trengove was providing less than nothing.

Almost thought he was so stubborn that he had no intention to switch up a side where the balance has been so out of whack & was so glaringly obvious for anyone with two eyes to see, there may be hope for him yet.

This happens way too often with Neade. As exciting as he can be he doesn't seem to have a good footy brain.

If I were Neade I'd be studying Eddie Betts game day in and day out - that is, how to play like a proper small forward ie crumb and get the ball over the top.

But instead Neade tries playing like hes a key forward - tries to win a 1 on 1 marking contest with a defender twice his size, goes for the same marking contest as Ryder instead of waiting for the fall etc

So Neade has two opposition players on him obviously leaving one of our other players free, and someone makes the wrong decision to kick to him, and it's Neade's fault? The deliver of the ball dictates how he tries to mark the ball.

I don't mind the idea but then who defends when Jacko is rucking? Howard is more versatile than Eddy.
Clurey, Hombsch and Jonas with Hoff swinging back.

He can run like Neade though.... likes to run...
I really likes this. So, in the wide expanse of the MCG, he can really runs like a headless chook & the cluesless pies will all be chasing him all over the ground (great decoy!) .Low & behold, we get all the spaces to work with, may be even waltz into an empty goal! Let' s be serious, it' a v important role to play. I mean to run!

Austin has been in good the last few weeks , I guess with Collingwood having mostly just Darcy Moore as a tall forward so it mightn't be this week but the extra height back there to loosen the chains on Hombsch and Clurey would be good .

You lost me after the 10th can

Howard and White in. Ken realises that no one is playing well 2 weeks in a row. Howard, Young and Neade were all quiet. So don't bring in Eddy, because he is now guaranteed to be useless this week. White with 6 touches and Doogs with no goals will both dominate this week, so it might as well be with the seniors.

Or probably just Pitted.
