Just reading this thread gave me butterflies.

Very nervous about this game because for some funny reason we are in at a shot at finals if we win. The previous two games we have been amazing so if we play that well again we could very well win.

I think Colledge is a massive chance to come in. Whilst he was injured, Simpson said he was very keen to play him as soon as he regains consistency. He's now had two consecutive weeks of 20+ disposal games.

If Watson returns for the Bombers, he'd have to be a bit underdone, so that might be an opportunity for Colledge to play against someone he should be modelling his game on.

Big risk brining in Colledge. Would rather Tunbridge - mainly due to his kamikaze style attack on the ball/player. It's going to be a big, physical and very intense game against Essendon. Everything is on the line for both teams - the loser will most likely miss out on finals.

Is there any chance we still make it if we lose to Essendon???

Essendon has to lose to both the Suns and Carlton for us to make it through (assuming we win the last two games).

You would expect Essendon to beat the Suns and possibly Carlton.

We need to win. Beating Essendon is like an 8 point game.

Colledge is a damn fine player, and he presents no risk.

I might be posting this partly because I'm his (finest ever) sponsor, but I firmly believe that he our best option, with Maginess the only player perhaps better suited to the sub role.

No bias. IMO he lacks continuity in his game after all the little injuries he's picked up. He would be behind Tunbridge atm IMO but I wouldn't be unhappy with Colledge in the team.

Heard lastnight, that ASADA have come out and said, even if this court hearing ATM determines that their joint investigation was un lawful, they will just re-issue all the 34 players the show cause things again. That has to be a massive burden on the players invoved, knowing that even if the Bombers win this case, they will still have to face the music. Could be a massive week for them all off field, hopefully meaning they don't turn up on Saturday and we can nab a win!!

Wouldnt be surprised if it did have that effect. Although they might be that worked up about it they know to stick it to the AFL would be to make the finals and taint as much as possible. :)

He dropped two handballs pretty much running into inside 50 which he could have scored or which could have led to scores by others. Still though I wouldn't drop him anytime soon

I can't remember the second handball, but the one from Kennedy was completely over cooked, can't blame him for fumbling that one, shocking hand pass by JK.

I was at training this morning.
Le Cras was running fast half laps aroung the boundary.

He might be fit for the game against Essendon.
Inteesting

This is one of those games where I wish I could be put to sleep at 2:30 and woken 3 hours later, and just check the score and not have to either sit and watch it, or be out somewhere, and checking the score on my phone every minute.

This is the first time in a while I have been nervous about a game.

Ha my mum attempted that during the 2006 GF by hiding in her car. Had to get her out when we won. :D

They have played some spectacular footy after these sorts of things, damn I am worried they will come out breathing fire even more so.
