if we do play dyson would you mind him running out of defence or at the feet of Neagle and Lucas

Dyson will most likely play wing I guess (If he's up for selection), I haven't seen him play for a while so its unknown at the moment which position he'll play best for us...

There's still the chance of Hislop making a return, so no need to rule him out yet.

As I've said before, Pevrill would be our best option right now. Its a simple solution but might interfear with Knighta's 'youth policy'. (Roll eyes)

really, surely not, he has been one of their better players of late, and one of their more talented experienced players they wouldnt drop him, but then again, team policies are a fickle thing in AFL circles

He's getting on a bit now and hes been told that he has till the end of the season to prove that he wants to play footy and earn a new contract for next year, not really the right way to go about it by missing training/recovery sessions. Also Heath Black will be playing WAFL despite returning from suspension this week as a matter of disipline from Harvey

As much as I dislike Lazycock and everything I've EVER written about him on this forum, I don't think he deserves to be dropped for the freo game. It seems someone finally inserted that rocket up his ass that I called for weeks ago and the fuse is getting shorter. Still don't like him, but definately improved over the last two weeks.

Agree that the fuse is getting shorter, and Laycock is due to explode. Remember everyone was saying Monfries was taking too long to prove himself, and even this year people were talking about trading him while he still has some value. Now who is suggesting that?

If there is potential there, just be patient and wait. Eventually the spark will hit the gunpowder and we'll remember why we drafted him in the first place.

After that it's just about developing consistency, which will only happen over time.

That solves a real problem if I remember correctly he kick 3 or 4 against us at the end of last year and was a real pain in the ar##!

No Farmer, most likely no McPharlin, Michael Johnson under a cloud... this quite possibly could be our best chance at Subi. 5 and 9 before the break, Brisbane in Melbourne and then Melbourne and WCE in the following weeks. Our season is far from over with respect to the F word if things fall our way and we continue our resurgence. A loss to Freo would end all of that without a doubt. If we're as hungry as we were against Carlton, look out Freo!!!

Just in regard to who Andrew Welsh will play on, I wouldn't be surprised if he does a job on Dean Solomon down back.

Dean's been one of their most consistent performers this year, and Welshy won't be pushed off the ball like a few of our other young defenders.

That's of course if Solomon doesn't end up on Lloydy or Lucas which I have a sneaking suspicion may happen.
