Weather didn't help in that regard. Don't think he was even close to the worst.

I think Gordon and Lloyd should feel the most nervous but the real problem tonight was the top end of the list. So-called "elite players" were less than elite with the exception of Edwards. Even Ellis was a bit sh!t.

Yep exactly my ins and outs....and never ever play them again ..Arnot Morris Gordon are totally pathetic...Got other players who could of brought in to play ...instead we play all the hacks on our list...no wonder our forward line is not functioning with those hacks down there..

Thought it might be amusing on here tonight.... Not disappointed so far. Far more disappointed with our attack on the ball.... DH said it best...insipid.

We should have taken our chances early.... Griff kicks it like Richo inside 30.... how is such a beautiful kick such a crap kick?

Big bodied mids? Do we have any? Vlas was doing not much back, although he beat his man.... throw him in the guts... Release Houli so he doesn't have to play so deep.... and can provide rebound

Once Griffo went down, we had no forward structure whatsoever.... which has been a problem since, well it's been a consistent problem. It's ok when we have it all on our terms but it's just bomb to JR and Griff when we get under pressure and that doesn't work well enough. Would kill for a LeCras or a Gunston. Proper hitup forwards.... Or play three key forwards and let Griff be a hit up, or TV or whoever but someone who works hard.

Mindset: The players have to cop the blame for their actual attack on the ball (or lack of it) but maybe they are just not 'scared' enough of the coach. This may be the problem for Dimma.... might need to sacrifice a 'mate' to make a point. Cotch knew he was down and lifted from half time as did Ellis a bit earlier but the point is, why the hell do they need to lift? Why can't they be hard and 'on' from the start?

We used to bemoan our depth.... we now have depth except that players 16-30 are all the same bloody standard. Very good VFL players and very average AFL players..... Not going to help us go up the ladder. So much pressure now on Conca, C.Ellis, Lennon, McDonough, Elton and McIntosh to really make it otherwise the next few years are going to be a real problem. They won't be will we win a final type problems, they'll be a can be stay out of the bottom 4-6 problems.

Outs: Drummond (inj. poor bugger but looked overawed), Griff (inj.... not again) and everyone who didn't put their head over the ball.... so probably about 10 blokes...
Ins: TV, Lennon and anyone who will put their head over the ball.... so probably no-one.
