Butchers always topical.Maggies played against him this weekend and kicked 3 on Austin so I'm not surprised he's sorta a topic.
We persisted with O'Shea and Moore longer than what we should have. How many years do we give him given this is his 6th? he is on the verge of being a senior player (by age) in our squad. Do we persist or do we have a look at an 18 year old next draft? SPP is 5 years younger than Arch and already playing better footy.
I'd love to see Arch succeed but am nervous that at some point we miss out on drafting a kid with better long term potential. At almost 24 years of age and 3 years of AFL footy, I am expecting more from him.

Arch needs an extended opportunity to find his feet at this level. He appears to have some real talent and Id like to see him find a niche that suits him and the team best. Thats not going to happen if we continue to play him for a few games and then send him back to the sanfl.
Personally, Id like see him in the forward line.
F: Ah Chee Dixon Gray
HF: Wingard Westhoff Impey
C: Polec Ebert SPP
HB: Houston Hombsch Broadbent
FB: DBJ Clurey Jonas
1R: Ryder, Boak, Wines
Int: Trengove, S.Gray, Amon, Pittard
OUT: Hartlett, Young,
IN: Houston, Wingard
For me I would like to see the following:
OUT: Hartlett, Ah Chee and Young
IN: Houston, Monfries and Eddy
That makes us a much stronger side instantly.
I like this Mon-fires guy. He's on fire!Out

In
Howard monfires Eddy
negative, unfortunately. Try the Queens Head or Cathedral for a good pre game froth.Do you guys still have that bar down next to the tennis courts? Can't find any info on here or your website.
His form has certainly dropped off from last year, but I'm not sure I'd be dropping him just yet. This will be unpopular...
I'd drop DBJ.
He's OK at most things but lacks being really good at anything. Not quick or strong, kick is so-so, to often doesn't stick tackles.
Bring in Houston.

Chads got his calf on ice according to his Instagram story. Was he due back for Thursdays game?
Want to see Monfries back as per the suggestion in the 'tiser. He should have been back in last week, Young has lost form this year and Hinkley has to admit that and drop him to the SANFL for an extended period.
Hinkley admit? .......

His form has certainly dropped off from last year, but I'm not sure I'd be dropping him just yet.
What caught my eye was the bolded, which is absolutely wide of the mark.
I've posted this before, but here it is again:
2013 Draft Combine Results
Really, he had all the physical traits of a small defender before coming into the system - except for strength, which I would imagine has improved markedly.
Either that or re enforce the fact that we are simply not up to it.I can't wait for this game. Need to erase the memory of last Thursday as soon as possible
