Petch is our 4th highest goal scorer for the year. Ryan has had a good season but hasn't hit the scoreboard as much as he should.

MC must think he just needs a break to work on a few things. Hope he can smash it at WAFL level and get back in quickly as it is great watching him burn off his opponents
Good thinking, we also need to balance youth and experience

He's only kicked 3 goals in his last 5 games. His total looks good due to that 5 he had against Port.

Vardy not playing, Petruccelle either.

Fig sees Vardy at subway.

Fig likes an Italian sandwich.

Petruccelle also eats Italian BMT (probably).

Fig r u Jack Petruccelle?
I bet $100 that he isn't. If he is I will delete my account.

I don't know which thread to post this but this video ( 0.38) sums up why I cannot stand Masten. Has no Footy (or any IQ) or game awareness let alone time awareness. The result worked in our favour but If I was a coach I would have dropped Masten for 5 games after this stupid decision. As I have said many times, he is one for the greatest 150 plus game premiership spuds of our Game in the modern era. Good on him TBH, he should write a book and tell us all how he did it. From now on Masten is to me what a Bermuda Triangle is. No one knows how to solve it.Enjoy the video: ( specially the ending which is a welcoming reminder of the one and only.......)

Seriously has Masto smashed everyone on BF's missus?

I had Masten in my outs in the OP of this thread. Despite that, I’m still going to wind up accused of being a Masten lover here, but how anyone could watch that clip and think that’s not Tom Barrass’ fault I’ll never know. “Don’t wait for the ball to come to you” is up there with “don’t kick across goal” as rules drilled into you since junior footy. If the same incident happened but with Barrass kicking to Masten who waits for it to come to him, that clip would also be used as proof of him being garbage.

We get it, everyone hates him. I don’t understand how he’s consistently still getting games given his low 2019 output, but he’s been picked 207 times by two seperate premiership coaches, the constant mud slinging and dragging counts for zero in light of that.

Can we please just mute the word Masten or start a designated thread, **** this week on week bashing.

So where the hell is Barrass? If he was good to go, a straight swap for McGovern was logical.

That he isn't an inclusion makes me wonder that this "corkie" it's claimed he had was worse then expected.

If he doesn't play in the WAFL this week I will be really concerned.

And as for Masten..... That dude must be the luckiest 200+ game player I have ever seen in my life based on a career of utterly indifferent and completely bog average form.

Well he isn't good to go. Some corkies are worse than others. Schoey missed a month early in the season due to a corkie.

This doesn’t make much sense to me. He visibly got a corked calf on a broadcast WAFL game, the club acknowledged it all week and then said he has a fitness test to get up.

Surely he doesn’t play WAFL. He doesn’t need match fitness, if he’s good to play he’d be playing for the Eagles. They wouldn’t say a locked in best 22 player is too injured to play AFL but then risk him at WAFL level.

Now HB - your messages are so much better received in a song than an outburst or tirade. You know what is needed to stop the Mastenhaters!

Nah I replayed it about 40 times. He makes a spoil from behind and somehow the bloke he spoils falls to the ground knee first into his calf. Bad corkie (which is good news). He wont play this week but will perform a grievous act on the Dockers next week.

Perfect game for us to be missing gov and Barrass. Wet conditions and hawks without a dominant big man I feel we match up really well against them this week. Surprised they didn’t go with Mitchell Lewis he would’ve been a handful for us

I request 'Don't go hating Chris Masten' to the tune of TLCs 'Waterfalls'

Don't go hating Chris Masten
Please stick to the Purples and the MRP like we're used to
I know that he's going to get caught holding the ball
But he'll celebrate a goal with total class...

Hawks by 12 points its going to rain all day I'm going with my head here

Close game I reckon. People thinking Gov and Barrass out isnt a big deal because its wet are dead wrong imo. Both are super strong and important structurally - Barrass was easily bog in the wet last week and I reckon McGovern had his best game of the season. Huge loss's.
