WC will win and the MC will use it as justification of their team selection.

We will lose the week after.

From the changes for Freo thread.

My next prediction:

Then Simpson will put the players on notice. Promises a shakeup.

Wellingham will come in for Masten. No other changes.

Masten is already out. So I guess this one is a bust.

out: priddis petrie vardy redden
in: mitchell lycett (if fit) giles/mcginnes partington

vardy and petrie were crap today both need to be dropped at least for a rest vardy constantly looks stuffed the last few weeks.

Lycett won't be fit and Petters was fine today, presented well and got involved especially second half.

He doesn't deserve to be dropped, venting but that last one there was no contact on him, dry ball easy mark he had to make at that stage of the game , he dropped it we lost . Weak as piss and what is wrong with this team.
There were moments before and after that let us down more. Yeo and JK both missing regulation goals. The one jk missed entirely is his usualy bread and butter goal. Then duggan and nelson HTB was as shocking.

LOL redden was one of better midfield contributors. Was good offensively, defensivily, won his own ball and linked up well.

in part we are giving kids a game - they may eventually not be up to it but there are learning at the moment.

Yoe was very poor (soft mentally) and JK isn't a leader

We're still with a chance of making the eight, so changes will be :

Outs: Cole
Ins: Mitchell

Yeo to move back, Mitchell to mid.

Simpson will challenge the leaders to respond (again). Hutchings to tag Zorko.
Partington still waiting for a debut, hasn't displaced Priddis, Redden, Shuey, Sheed, Mitchell, Yeo, Hutchings.

Agree on nelly and Duggan.

Im more pissed off about two of our better players not putting the pies away.

Vardy and Petrie were amongst our best, and also in the handful of players still out there trying to win in Q4. I'll let you drop one for structural reasons, but both were good in Q4 where we have our biggest problems. Plenty of other hopeless players out there that went completely missing in Q4. Lycett is not fit. Giles is not an AFL player.

Out.
Cole Nelson Duggan redden

In
Masten Mitchell Butler McInnes

Don't laugh, you just know it's true!!!

He made more than a couple of mistakes, and you don't get rewarded just because you are a kid.

All three of Cole, Duggan and Nelson across half back doesn't work, we had too many HBF's today anyway.

That's what the clubs been saying for years now. And yeh do just get games for being young and show signs of being able to play the game.

At the end of the day, unless he is delist material he plays because I'd rather him make mistakes this year and next, then limp into finals before being thrown out like we deserve.

I'm sure the clubs excuse for Priddis' lack of contribution today will be because Mitchell wasn't playing and we need both in the side plus Naitanui and outside runners for Priddis to influence a game.

Out: Priddis, Hutchings, LeCras, Schofield
In: Mutimer, Partington, Karpany, Lamb

We have Brisbane and a midfield that needs drastic changes by next year. So let's leave out Mitchell for another week and see what Mutimer has as an inside mid at AFL level and Lamb at HF and on a wing. Don't See anyone worth tagging for Hutchings next week so he's not required.

But I'm sure we're still well in contention so
Out: Cole, Nelson, Jetta, Barrass
In; Priddis, Masten, Wellingham, Butler

Based on today's performance making the 8 isn't going to happen. What more does Partington have to do to get a game. Would rather him in making some mistakes then watching players run away from Priddis each week.

I think Cole had good moments and bad moments, he has a lot of upside imo.

Partington has to come in, I think it would be an outage if he didn't .

Yep agreed.
Definitely need to cut the power off the eagles offices if he isn't named.

Seriously though he has more upside than priddis right now.

Yoe was very poor (soft mentally) and JK isn't a leader

Yeo was one of our better players and is most definitely not mentally soft. And JK is definitely a leader.

So I think you are way off the mark on both counts.

I'd be inclined to play Lamb over Petrie this week just to see if he's got any ability at AFL level, because we need a big clean out at the end of the year.

Butler, LeCras, Priddis, Snadden, Mitchell (probably), Petrie (probably), McInnes, Lamb, EMac (maybe?), Masten, Giles, Wellingham
