Simmo looking extremely pissed off in the presser. Looks like he is about to cry. Mentioned Partington as a possible in and said we will be looking at continuing the transition for next year so its a possibility he could debut
Wonder if Simmo has been put on notice by the Board, which could be why he keeps playing the old faithfuls whether in form or not, as he is trying to save his own backside? Just a thought.

Why would he expect Priddis to save his backside when he is playing rubbish? He started today on the bench and has been rotated on to the HF more than ever.

He made more than a couple of mistakes, and you don't get rewarded just because you are a kid.

All three of Cole, Duggan and Nelson across half back doesn't work, we had too many HBF's today anyway.

Be that as it may Larry thats not where we lost the game today.
If we had a half decent midfield, that could win the contested possession at stoppages we would have won the game and our youthful back line would not even be being discussed.

We all know where we are the weakest yet the powers to be are incapable of fixing it.

F******* frustaring to say the least.

Out: Gaff or Shuey (both re injured IMO, need a rest)- In Partington
Out: Priddis In: Mitchell
Out: Nelson In: Wellingham, playing for his career next week.
Now that it's most unlikely we will now make the 8 and quite frankly I think it would be embarrassing if we do, as we would more than likely go straight out like last year, then it's time to stop playing any player who is injured. Bring in the lesser likes to give them a go - it will give them the experience for going forward.

Haha love wce fans, cry out for young players like cole to play and at first opportunity turn him into a whipping boy and a scapegoat.

Only the eagles fans.
Had him in my outs because I felt we had too many HBFers playing and were unbalanced, what's wrong with that?

Finished 9th , 2nd 7th and probably 9th this season ....so Simpson has untill end of 2019 and cant see him not seeying the contract out

If anyone can't get the clip to work, it's basically this

He looks shattered and i kind of feel for hIm.

But on the otherhand i don't. There have been so many moments this year when the peny should have dropped and it hasn't.

This point has been coming for many years. But especially this year, the whole bunch of muppets enjoy smelling their own stink. Delusional the whole lot of them.

Whipping the whole team and getting them up for the
Next game is not the answer. Simpson has it right, this team has no will to win. Whether anything is done about is another matter.

OUT: Priddis, Cole, Le Cras
IN: Mitchell, Partington, Karpany

I don't care that Karpany was crap yesterday, it doesn't cost players a spot in the seniors so why should it matter? Don't need so many HBFers.
Yeah the HBF is a bit overloaded at the moment, and as a result Yeo played a lot forward this week.

Is it too much to ask that we can find a midfield development and training program that can teach our midfielders to play in the actual middle. The fact we had to move Yeo, Wellingham, Duggan, Jetta out of the middle before they had an impact is an indictment on our coaches. These are talented players who can't play midfield in our system. Why not?

Because the spots are apparently taken. At least in the last few weeks ther have been a few changes. Redden and Sheed did ok. Shuey was OK but played under what he is capable of. It's the same old story, we are playing carrying one slow and unskilled player in the midfield. I'm not worried about Duggan mistakes or Coles because they will improve but playing old players is only worthwhile if they earn their game. They may offer leadership in developing younger ones but that is no good to you if you have to carry them.

You won't tip us, at home, against the team on the bottom of the ladder, if Priddis is playing?

Let me guess, your tipping isn't going very well this year?

Probably a moot point as I think Priddis will be "rested" next week.

But i guarantee you, if he plays, we will lose the inside 50 count by at least 15. Whether we win or not would depend on how straight they kick.

Our midfield is dead last right now - the worst in the league. Bar none.

Hopefully Mitch keeps a close eye on the midfielders we draft in the future, and can actually help develop them properly. Having said that, we need to focus a little more on actually drafting midfielders over flankers that we hope can become mids.

If we keep losing the ruck contests so convincingly it might need a change ie Giles , Giles can win ruck contests ...Vardy has had a few quiet weeks , Giles for a few weeks as an in this week maybe .
Nothing to lose .

IN Giles , Partington Mitchell

OUT Cole , Vardy , Priddis or Redden

Put on notice for putting us in winning positions at half/three quarter time in all our close loses this year and being out of the 8 on %? Or for the last two years when we made a grand final and finals?

He can't control the players decision making late in games when we're losing the plot. People are hating on Simmo like we've finished 18th.

Yeah, one of them has to play as a mid though if they are all playing. I used to think that was Duggan but Nelson may be the better option t this stage.
