Propably. But i still think simmo is hesitant to use gocmv in the ruck.
If so there is no point playing Brown over Giles.

If what you say about Simmo only wanting to use Giles as a single ruck is true, and the rationale in recruiting Giles was to play him only in the instance that both NN and Lycett are injured, then it would have to be one of the dumbest list management decisions in the history of the sport.

If he doesn't want to use Gov in the ruck then bring in a ruckman ffs not a KPD coming off a knee reco

Who cares let's concede the tap. Brown will be doing so against goldyou anyway. Browns inclusion is annoying. We're at least a midfielder short.

Particularly when we didn't even bother to rookie someone like Darcy Cameron to develop

Just as bad that Redden is wearing the guernsey, so not sure that's the best argument.

We wouldn't have gotten a first round pick for Sinclair, so Redden was arguably the more expensive trade.

I guess Redden has the excuse of the hernia, but still, he's playing for EP, not in the rehab group.

Wellingham playing in the WAFL after an interrupted pre-season also was made into a massive deal in the media. For some reason Redden just flies straight under the radar.

Some types just get treated more harshly than others.
Redden and Wellngham recieved no where near the amount of press that Jetta received when he played at East Perth.

That was my point (about Redden anyway)

Redden should be getting just as much scrutiny for not making the 22 given he cost us just as much if not more than Jetta.

He cost us the opportunity to trade Sinclair for a different player and/or draft pick
Don't think the trade would have arisen if Jetta didn't want to leave. Chicken/egg.

I wasn't suprised Nelson was left out

I said a few times in this thread ....I like him and he will be a good player for us

Just think we needed hill in clearly ginners wasn't going to get dropped after four goals

I think we have played well at home all year ...sating the bleedin obvious I know but we will get our chances to win the game

We played ok even though we lost to crows ....it was one bad quarter

We need to be on early .....I also think we have the capacity to defend.

I can see it now. Cats have lost, another top 8 side that's expected to win, will lose. We have the chance to go a few places up the ladder, and bang, we f**k it up and lose and blow a good chance to make up some ground on the teams above us. I know we're only 1 win behind them, but a fair few of them have piss easy draws remaining, which means these opportunites won't come along very often in the last few rounds of the season.

If both Jetta and Redden play at their prime Jetta is easily the better player. Jetta has shown he can be a match winner while Redden will be a very good role player. That is why Jetta cops it, what they cost us is not the issue.

I think "he's a first ruck only" might be code for "he's not up to scratch around the ground and we can't carry him". If Lycett was injured instead of Nic Nat I reckon he would be in the team for sure. But I don't think we want to be carrying two lumbering big men as it makes us too top-heavy and slow. Not to mention Giles isn't in great form anyway.

I just don't think Brown is much different. Fair enough not playing Giles and bringing in one of the three mids who weren't selected, but Brown is a hack. IMO

we are short on mids, maybe they will make the 150 game premiership midfielder/ back pocket that is on half a million+ a year rotate through there and actually contribute this week.
