Better be one of Logan or Newton that make it in...... surprised they didn't name Butch just to keep BF onside ;)

Monfries out no biggie, done jack all anyway, but S.Gray named in the 18 as his replacement? WTF!!!

Gulp, I suppose "in Kern we trust" is still correct?

I was hoping we'd smash Richmond, but based on this extended team I'm not sure. All you can say is that Butch aint going to get a gig this year if he can't get a slot at the moment.

Still think we're overly relying on Sarge to be the goto man, unless of course there is another plan at play here. Perhaps Ken's playing funny buggers with the Tigers.

The second Westhoff is needed elsewhere or goes to the bench on the weekend, our forward line will be

Schulz 193cm
Wingard 181cm
White 180cm
S.Gray 176cm

and a resting midfielder.

Matching up on a backline who will play

Chaplin 195cm
Rance 194cm
Grimes 193cm

all game. Wingard will again be basically forced to play FF and fly for balls he should be crumbing.

Hmmm, do you guys think Richmond might play the "stifle Port's run and pressure them so they are forced to kick to a contest where we have a massive height advantage" gameplan?

I remember everyone complaining two years ago about giving gold passes with Primus and Choco. Seems Ken is not into gold passes no matter what campaignering height they are.

Seems like Butch hasn't got a gold pass, does he deserve one ?? Maybe Ken is still cleaning out the closet and also saying why not now. If this keeps up with Butch, he wont be on our list next year. Expect him to be spudding it up for Footscray next season.

Takes deep breath..........we are playing in the ****ing dry.

Well on the positive side Gus gets to play with some talls and he will enjoy the win

He isn't playing, it should be Angus Bruggeman (sp?) but they buggered it up.

all game in perfect conditions under a xxxxing roof Wingard will again be basically forced to play FF and fly for balls he should be crumbing.

FTFY

Ridiculous selections. Beyond disappointed now. When we were winning it was like "why do we need a traditional structure when we are winning".....then our structure got even worse because of injury and we start losing....what is the excuse for not putting one in place now?

If Mitchell stays in this week, he's got as big a gold pass as anybody ever had under Choco.
