I wouldn't drop Varcoe, he made position a number of times and was ignored. Especially when we kicked out after a point. Was on his own a number of times in the centre, flapping his arms and they kicked short.
I don't think we used the space in kick outs very well at all.
Varcoe is no good.. goes where ball ain't.. low possessions, lacks real physicality.I wouldn't drop Varcoe, he made position a number of times and was ignored. Especially when we kicked out after a point. Was on his own a number of times in the centre, flapping his arms and they kicked short.

Our missing link is a big marking fwd. Cox is a threat but is rotated heavily around the ground leaving mihocek as the sole 'tall'.Next week. 26 degrees. It’s going to be exactly the same which plays into Richmond’s hands. All we do is fumble and they scrap like savages.
If the mids don’t put up a fight, that’s almost the season done.
The worst stat was 37 metres gained for Varcoe. Even Josh Thomas had more and he barely left the fwd 50. Did absolutely nothing other than chase Geelong players around all day. No influence. Surely daicos or Greenwood would have at least won more of the ball.Varcoe is no good.. goes where ball ain't.. low possessions, lacks real physicality.
Nah, he’s safe, Thomas and browny are
in trouble
Cal Brown looked a great prospect in his first games, though his lack of size was apparent. Now he seems to have lost even those early performance skills and attributes. As you say, he offers little more than romance and nostalgia.
He’s a kid.
What were you doing at his age?
You always like to dig at him, never miss.
If we were as efficient as your Sier pokes, we’d have won by 7 goals last night.
No changes, the 22 we had in vs the cats need to redeem themselves

I'm happy for anyone who can catch a basic handpass to come in.
To be fair, I was disappointed to hear he may be unfit and I do find it difficult to understand why he would not be as fit as some others his age.

According to afl com.au Sier set the house on fire in the VFL and is primed for a return.

I thought we looked unbalanced. Need a genuine inside mid and a running defender to help Crisp and the mids transition the footy. I like Howe as a tall defender, so I'd drop Roughhead for team balance (don't think he did much wrong). Sier into the guts and shift Beams, Pendles or Sidey to half back.
I don't think it'll happen though.
I thought Aish was solid in contests, but I'd be giving him a warning - start attempting to offer some run or you're back to the VFL.
How does Roughy not have a match up? Has to play on Tom Lynch doesnt he? Moore goes to Riewoldt
Yeah, I'd think this is how it will be.How does Roughy not have a match up? Has to play on Tom Lynch doesnt he? Moore goes to Riewoldt
