Barrass looks the same height as McInnes.
McGovern isn't here so can't provide scale.

Hope to see Hill and Cripps kick more goals again after only 2 between them in the last 2 games.Cripps, Hill are also capable of contributing with mids like Shuey, Yeo and our two rucks noted goal kickers.

That only happened because he forgot to put his mouthguard back in in after a shot at goal (iirc), surely he won't forget again.any chance yeo will lose another tooth at the G?? sidebet on this??
Don't buy into the 6 day break thing too much, clubs heading into the bye can give that extra bit more because they don't have to back it up the following week.
My team also doesn't have one of the most successful home grounds in the competitionThat's a pretty easy thing for a Victorian supporter to say, your team doesn't travel over 80,000km's in a season
My team also doesn't have one of the most successful home grounds in the competition
MCG isn't an advantage for any team, yes it's our home deck but all teams are expected to play there if they want to win the Grand FinalYou do realise the counter argument to that of course....
We get say 10 games with the advantage, 2 games equal and 10 games disadvantaged - net sum = 0
Pretty much the same as every other side - though the make up might be 5 with adv, 12 neutral, 5 with disadv for the tigers
MCG isn't an advantage for any team, yes it's our home deck but all teams are expected to play there if they want to win the Grand Final
That said we play 4 interstate teams there, West Coast, GWS, Fremantle, Gold Coast
10 against neutral teams at the MCG, 2 neutral at Etihad (one includes home against North which is their home ground, so angry)
5 travelling away games, 1 away game against North Melbourne in Hobart
That's 4-12-6 using your model, or 4-11-7 if I were being somewhat bias about the North home game at Etihad
So it's not "even"
Of course, we don't travel every second week and you guys do, but doesn't that also mean you're more conditioned to travel compared to other teams?
Might want to check our win loss record at the MCG this yearSo you don't think a ground that we play on perhaps twice a season is and you play on perhaps 14 times doesn't provide an advantage?
Spare me...

Just means you didn't lose by as much.Might want to check our win loss record at the MCG this year![]()

We should bring in McGinnity to play on Vickery just to show him how much we disrespect him.Freo probably thought that, and Vickery kicked a game high 3 goals. He's no star, but he's 200cm, about 98kg, a great set shot for goal and a good mover for his size. If you don't pay him respect with a decent opponent on that basis alone, he will kick 2-3 which will hurt.
We should bring in McGinnity to play on Vickery's Mum just to show him how much we disrespect him.
Well you're 1-0 at subi this year so I guess there's no disadvantage for you thereMight want to check our win loss record at the MCG this year![]()

They're professional sports-persons, they might be sore but it won't be from 6 day breaks or travel, it'll be because they give their all in the contest
Out: McGovern (possibly)
In: Barass (only if the Gov is out)
Sheed swaps the sub vest with Duggan.
No outs really.. I would think McGovern is more likely to line up than not.

My opinion is if your boys buy into being at a disadvantage due to the travel, then they've already lost. Elite sports is as much in the head as it is the training you do. They'll know their bodies, they'll know they'll get extra time to recover, they won't shirk a contest or stop running for the whole game, not just the last 3 minutes as in your example. So you don't believe that a club that has two consecutive 6 day breaks after travelling perth to tas, tas to perth and then perth to melbourne is disadvantaged? Yet in the same sentence you state that you believe that a club heading into the bye has the ability to put in that 'little bit extra'?
That is absolutely ridiculous.
"Hey boys, we're down by 5 points with 3 minutes left, but we've got a game to prepare for next week. Let's pack it in and leave some in the tank!"
