Chapman or Hayes

I think Hayes... juuuust

to me it is because he is a more inspiring player and certainly appears to be a better leader than Chapman, especially onfield

both tough, skilled and courageous players

both easily in the top 15 or so players of the 2000's

Chappy for flexibility - Hayes is probably a better midfielder but Chappy is by far a better forward.

And as far as inspirational on-field leaders go, both are worth their weight in gold. In 15 or so finals, he has only gone goalless once (in the PF last year when he was clearly injured).

In terms of what I'd want at Hawthorn, I'd say Chapman. A quick strong outside half-forward/midfield who is great overhead and a excellent kick for goal, would fit in very nicely.

In terms of just overall, different players and both outstanding at what they do for their respective teams. To hard to call.

Hayes by the length of the Flemington straight. So much respect for him as a footballer. Chapman on the other hand is nothing more than an overrated receiver, relying on his classy teammates to win the ball and give it too him in space.

I really hope this is a joke. If Chapman is a receiver, I'm the democratically elected President of Iran.

Very tough call, but would have to go with Chappy just...
Both are champions, but chappy's ability to go forward and kick goal consistently puts him over the line.
Also, I think he's one of the best set shots in the comp.

You are under rating Chapman. He is extremely hard it and can win his own ball. I voted for Hayes but it is close - "the length of the Flemington Straight" is just wrong.
