man he was vital if we were going to beat the eagles, crap!! Hope Prismall gets a run in his place
Pris and Stokes played blinders in the twos - both were "hurt" by being dropped and played hard and aggressive to make a point. Pris should get first dibs on coming in for Chappy, but it will be entirely dependent on what the coaching staff deem to be more valuable. Forward defensive pressure and maybe a goal or two, or extra midfield presence with maybe a goal or two. will be interesting to see which way they go.
Prismall for mine.
In: Stokes
Out: Chapman.
Ready made replacement, Stokes is not at Chapmans level but is a very worthy replacement after yet another B.O.G performance in the VFL.
Any news on Egan?
Is Harley back this week?
I honestly believe that both Stokes and Prismall wil come in for Tenace and Chapman. Tenace may be a good prospect but Prismall is all class.

). Rooke an emergency (depending on the day - if wet and windy definate inclusion).Rooke in for Chappy. Need him for some Judd bashing.

Yep, and having Johnson back in the ones also helps us cover the loss of Chappy down forward, although I think we will miss that 'hardness' that Chappy provides around the ball. We have a pretty potent forward line nowadays in Nathan, GAJ, Johnson, Mooney, Varcoe, Ottens when he's not rucking, Hawkins....as long as the delivery into them is within the radar and we have some guys at the fall of the ball. We have the depth to cover a missing forward or two....long long time since that has been the case?Damn.
Just brought him into my SuperCoach side last week too.
Seriously though, it's not necessarily the worst news. Sure, it means we have lost one of our best against the League-leaders. But Geelong, moreso than any other side, should be able to cover most of its players because the really don't rely on a handful of mega-stars in each. In my opinion, Chapman is 'coverable'. We all know Geelong has to stand up this week. This just gives that extra chance for those in the midfield and up forward to stand up and be first to the footy, like Chapman has done consistently.
Is he ready for that? I am assuming he would have limited game time even if he played.
My guess is he'll play another week in the VFL then strait back into the starting 18.
