Weather? Don't think anyone's ever said that, quite the opposite even from Melburnians I'd guarantee (the people here bitch incessantly: it's like they've forgotten they live in a cold city and then bitch when it's been raining for a week straight in June). But coffee is generally a little cheaper here, and yes I would say it's a better city for sport: $17 for the AFL and not $55 in bad seats where you have to pre-book weeks in advance and can't even sit with more than another person... there is more on so prices are a little more competitive.

I like being a West Australian too and will always recommend people to go over and check it out, I never write it off, but why are Perth people so outraged Melbourne has some really good things going for it? Don't get it.

I'm not. Some people love Melbourne. I'm not one of them. I prefer Sydney.

Sydney is a bit pleased with itself for my tastes, especially considering the further inland you get from the harbour the shittier it gets.

I quite like Sydney as a place to visit but I couldn't see myself living there. Melbourne followed by Perth followed by Brisbane would be my order of preferred city to live in.

Because WA has an enormous chip on its shoulder.

Ham is okay but bacon sounds gross. Then again I don't really get bacon at all. The Napier in Fitzroy does a Parma with kangaroo meat which is awesome; it balances well and gives it a different sort of richness.

In terms of cities Sydney is easily number 1. But how many people actually can afford a place on the Habour or North Shore. Sydney siders like most others are living in the suburbs. In which case Sydney would be the pits to live.

For ease of getting around/accessibility/events/lifestyle I'd rank:

To Live:

1. Melbourne
2. Brisbane
3. Perth
4. Adelaide
5. Canberra
6. Hobart
7. Darwin
8. Sydney

Cities are getting way over crowded and unliveable thou. In 3 short years I reckon Melbourne has basically capitulated.
