Had one good year in 95 that was it . Very one dimensional, not fit or hard enough to play up the ground and if you are going to be a specialist forward pocket , you have to bloody good at it . It is a pretty tough gig .

Personally , i never forgave him for missing that shot at goal on the siren in 96 against you blokes at Kat Park , think it was round three . He was about 30 out , 45 degree angle , if called himself a forward pocket/ goalsneak he should have eaten it ................... I`m still spewin

G'day fellas,

How did you guys rate Chris when he was a Richmond player?

When was the last time Richmond beat the Cats at Shell stadium? i am 23 years of age and i dont remember.
However:

Not sure of the year it was however Less then 1 minute left on the clock we get it out of the rock tigers down by less then a goal kicks it to Naish marks it on his chest not far out from goal Siren sounds as he kicks it a goal we win and guess what he let us down once more. Dud enough said. Even I could of kicked that what was he thinking. How much did we lose that game by 1point i think.

Never forget it...following the long trip down the princess hwy I arrived home to find my place had been burgled...If the day wasn't bad enough

Chris Naish kind of personofies Richmond of the last 20 years in a way.

Flashy half forward flanker who lurked around punt road for years promising to turn into a great but never quite delivering. As someone else said he had 1 special year in 95 and that was about it.

How many of these types have we had over the years... Daffy, Naish, Nichols , Wilson, Egan,Merenda,.....

I could go on all day.

He was the other player that Sydney attempted to poach at the same time as Stewie. I know which one I would have preferred to loose

I remember that too. To rub salt into the wound, we finished 9th and missed the finals by half a game that year.
