You are obviously a Cricket Administrator for SACA

In all honesty, I struggled to understand it as well.

As for Rogers, he'd be crazy to come over here.

The Redbacks are still a shambles, now Dizzy is gone it'll get worse, and with Tait up in the air, who knows?

The Redbacks are crap, I'd stay away.

Complete and utter lack of discipline at the SACA. If Rogers really wants to enter the most laid-back environment in Australian cricket, then SA is the place to come.

Maybe this is the sort of challenge he is looking for. Take over the captaincy and develop his leadership skills in a state that theoretically can only improve.

What are the issues driving him away from WA?

Apparently it is to do with him not being picked in the one dayers.

The Redbacks will have a bag full of money to give out with Lehmann and Elliott coming off top tier contracts and no more payments for Blewett. Ryan Harris and Manou are the only two players that could possibly ask for more money after their performances.

If there are any 33+ year old, injury prone cricketers in your state that are starting to fall out of favour with the selectors, then the SACA will be knocking their doors down. I reckon we'll get Martin Love on a one year deal.

will it help him gain a spot in the test team?
He'll run out of partners before he gets to 100 so that won't help, but the fact that four states want him because they don't have an opener who is anywhere near a certain selection shows how much competition there is if and when a new Test opener is needed.

I say any other state can have him. Anyone who doesnt want to play cricket for this proud state can fook off.

The reason he wants to leave is due to him not getting along with big Tom.

Why would you pick him in the 1 dayers anyway. he is an absolute snail. Fook off I say.

There is no way he can stay now.

Gee, Clint Heron is on the verge of leading Scarborough to back to back flags and another 800+ run season and he doesn't even rate a mention?
I don't like Clint.

BATSMAN Chris Rogers is leaving Western Australia to play for Victoria next season.
Rogers, who played his only Test last summer against India in Perth, advised WA coach Tom Moody of his decision today and it prompted WACA chief executive Graeme Wood to express disappointment and bewilderment.

Wood said in a statement it was disappointing that Rogers "has walked away from the state and the team that has helped him to become an international player".

"The Warriors team is in the best position it has been for a number of years to challenge for sustained success in all formats of interstate competition, and we are very disappointed that Chris has chosen to continue his career elsewhere," Wood said.

"WACA board members, senior management and coaching staff have met with Chris on a number of occasions to discuss his future, culminating in the meeting last month with myself; Tom Moody and WACA state match committee chairman Tom Hogan where it was made very clear to him that he is an important and valued member of the team.

"Many of Chris' Warriors team mates have also spoken to him in the hope of convincing him to stay for what promises to be an exciting future for WA cricket.

"It is bewildering that Chris has chosen to walk away from playing regularly at the WACA Ground, a ground where he has had so much success as a player on one of the best pitches in Australia." AAP

Guess that rules out any chance of becoming a test player.
