boring band for boring people. in fact i wouldn't even call them a band, it's not like they play their own instruments on stage

i wonder if they walk around in slow motion, not because they can't move at a regular pace but because Chris Martin thinks everything he does is so important he feels he is required to walk around in a manner that is more dramatic.

His eyes are open,it's just that his ears closed shut as soon as he put Coldplays pish on the stereo.:D

I like their second album but the rest bore me.

The GF's aunty can't go so she handed us her tickets for free. Don't really like them, but won't say no when they are for free.

Why am I not surprised the majority of replies are trash - this forum is the pits sometimes.

Back on topic, going to the second show on Wednesday night, should be good. :thumbsu:

i don't hang it on people for liking a band. but a group that doesn't play their own music live in concert can't be considered a band and i will therefor ridicule fans of said group

Regardless of the one song you are referring to and not to mention the 4 albums worth of songs that are unquestionably their own work, a group of people playing instruments and singing vocals is a band everyday of the week and I think they are an entertaining one at that. Hopefully you can just understand that instead of wasting both our times.

anyone know what the deal is with cameras......

ive looked and the wording is 'Professional Cameras' are on the prohibited items list, but then i rang a guy at ticketek this afternoon, who basically said cameras were allowed, as long as they didnt flash....

i guess if u can get a camera in there, good on you.....

Shooting from the crowd with a non-professional camera all you're likely to end up with crap results. You won't get in with decent camera gear unless you have a photo pass. You are far better off leaving your camera at home and just enjoying the show.

Cheers mate :thumbsu:

Will probably adhere to your advice, but still a small chance ill take it in and try my luck...... lol. If you're heading there tonight, have a good one.

Never really understood the attraction i must say, but out of curiosity how much are the tickets?

GF is a fan and i have put up with so much of the crap...

Say what you will about these guys, tonight's show was outstanding.

And I don't use bold italics for just any explanation. :thumbsu:

They are $140 for general admission however there are cheaper ones floating on eBay which is where I got mine.

I second this. Visually stunning. :thumbsu:

WOW WOW WOW!!

Personally, I think what I saw tonight is the best band in the world performing the best act in the world (not just post-concert buzz)....

Loved every element of the night, the only disappointment was that it had to end.

Terrific move to play a couple of ballads in the stands....we were about 10 rows in front of them, great to see them up close.

Coldplay haters can f*** off, I can't comprehend why people would waste their time in a thread they have no interest in.....

Can't wait till the boys return to Oz, might have to see them overseas before that happens.....

Edit: BTW managed to get the camera in. Hid it under my clothing. My bag wasn't even checked.....they weren't awesome photos though...

I've been to 7 Coldplay concerts over the last 3 tours but wasnt going to bother with this one. Firstly cause of the $140 ticket price, and also because of all the backing tracks they use on the new songs. (Life in Technicolor, Viva la Vida, Lost, Lovers in Japan, 42 and Chinese Sleep Chant all have blatant backing tracks, including vocals ).

Turns out i won tickets to the 2nd Brisbane show on Video Hits... so i'm going!

Although my love for them is nothng like it once was, I'm still quite looking forward to it
