Off the Pies game? Nah. I like him. I think he has attributes that would suit our forward line. Actually, he has the same attributes Fasolo had. Good hands and an accurate kick. With Fasolo no longer being an accurate kick, he serves no purpose in our side, might as well replace him with a like for like.

But what sort of dollars is he asking for? I have no idea.

Howe has kicked 80 goals 65 behinds at 55% accuracy
Fasolo has kicked 80 goals 54 behinds at 60% accuracy

Fasolo is a lot cheaper than Howe.

We would effectively be paying him 3.5 times more base wage without playing a single senior game and only a handful of less than impressive VFL outings.

As is Dangerfield, Freeman, Melksham.... Not just the only thing those players share.

Connors doesn't mind looking to get his clients more $$$ because the more they get, the bigger cut he gets.

I'm still confident we're nabbing Kreuzer. The sheer number of articles about us "cooling" on him or us being "out of the race" has me thinking the club is leaking this info out as part of the plan to drive his price down.

We nab Kreuzer on the cheap and screw Carlton out of Band 1 compo. Win/Win.
