There not great but on there day there one of the best, when Collingwood wins a majority of it is thanks to the midfield.

Swan (23yrs) was one of the highest possession getters last year, H Shaw (21yrs) also one of the highest last year about to move into the midfield and Pendlebury (19yrs) is the highest possession getter among the rising star nominees this year and the human highlight reel Dale Thomas (20yrs) could be better than them all

Missed out on a top 4 spot last year by percentage only, and we were the highest scoring team in the competition. Not bad for a team with the worst midfield (i think you will find that the pies midfield is really not that bad at all)....

It sure as hell isn't that great, we have hard workers who can get the ball we lack pace though.
Perfect midfield for 20 years ago, not so great in modern football.
Things are looking up though, some reasonable drafting in the last couple of years has gone some way to addressing that problem.
