In terms of Lade, I saw an interview (with him in it) and he seemed tied to his farming interests. Given his age and his ties to a family farm, it would not be going out on a limb to say it would be hard to entice him to a different club in a different state!

You're wrong again on your last point. Melbourne have an agenda for youth so are cutting him maybe 1 year short to make a point. Either way, sometimes players can be re-vitalized in their last chance - think Medhurst. Medhurst was a crap player for 5-7 years before he moved to the Pies on his last chance.

White will be as near to a free selection as you can get...and the only reason I would like the club to take him on. If it involved a draft pick, I would say no. I would also say no to Brogan and Lade for what the price would be.

Been busy for a bit but back now. Bluebear, you are the same twat that said we dont need a KPP because we have Waite and Fischer. I think that says everything! But let's forget that for a bit and talk about White. I know you think you know everything about Carlton and that you are an expert on what we need (White/not White) but I'd probably back in Ratten in with this statement

As for King, look through my history and you;ll see I raised recruiting King about mid last year. He, when not injured, was playing VERY good footy for Geelong and its reserves.....and has done well this year at the Saints.
