Sorry to invade, didn't see a thread here about it?

Anyone heading along/making the trip up the Hume?

Probably a shameless self-plug but I'll be covering it for the Border Mail newspaper up here and will hopefully have a few yarns/pics to share.

If you've got Twitter, i'll be posting live updates from there, if not, there'll be a stack of content on www.bordermail.com.au

Any questions you guys want me to ask particular players/coaches?

(mods do whatever you want with this thread, I've got no idea where you guys run this sort of stuff on your board)

Hahaha Daisy that is awful!

Also Bourkey23, a question that I'd be very interested would be on the club's thoughts on Marty Clarke this season. Do they see him playing the majority of games this season and in which area? I have read that he has done some training in the forward line however played the majority of his games so far on the back flank.

Cheers

Hey, OP, hope you enjoy the day, looking forward to your writeup!

I had a lovely wander over to the Border Mail website and saw that the two leading articles were:

http://www.bordermail.com.au/

(1) "A PET chihuahua was killed in Benalla yesterday morning by two German shepherds."

(2) "A MYRTLEFORD man has been fined for using rabbit traps to catch native birds, in an attempt to stop them eating flowers from his oak tree."

http://www.bordermail.com.au/

It has been far too long since I've visited that charming part of the world!

I actually attended the dinner that was held on the Tuesday night. I was expecting a handful of players to show up, do a talk and then get out of there. The whole team showed up, 2 players/coaches sat at each table and interacted with eveyone. Everyone was happy to have a chat, sign an autograph & have a photo and genuinely seemed happy to be there.

I got the oppertunity to have a couple of chats to Chris Dawes & Nick Maxwell - both very, very impressive people.

It's a pity the the newspapers don't cover off more of this sort of stuff of the good things clubs do as 99% of the time, it is negative press.
