Haro has already run a season of IFA and he didn't sprint off did he? I am aware of that Brycie boy, but there hasn't been one of these comps for a while besides NAFL and then the IFA. Then people started shitting on HL's work and making their own rip offs.

I'm pretty sure in the first season of the IFA, other people stepped in and ran it for a while when Haro wasn't stepping up to the plate.

The idea that this is some sort of original competition that should be preserved is ludicrous. The NAFL wasn't even the first league style comp on this board. The IFA is a forgettable drop in the ocean.

OK FJGD board, this has been an issue of debate for the last few months and I'd like to settle it once and for all.

Haro's IFA competition will be put through the same 10 like requirement as every other competition for a second time, as circumstances have hugely changed since.

If this post gets the regulation 10 likes, the 10 team IFA can carry on as it would, providing the entrants are ready by Haro's set date of the 8th.

I'll leave this to be until the 4th. If the likes aren't here by then, I'm locking the IFA threads.

Two of those likes are from HaroLad (the competition owner) and Citroin (HaroLad's brother and has previously stated he doesn't care about FJGD). I assume those are invalid and won't be taken into consideration for the 10 likes needed.

Citroin should still be counted. He is entering the competition and has put in a fair amount of work in his designs, so yes, his like should be counted.

As an outsider that likes to lurk in the shadows and admire some of the great work you guys do here, I personally think there needs to be a greater focus on the 'smaller,' one-off comps rather than the mega-sized, year-round leagues. The leagues take a lot of work, go over a long period of time and are closed off to entries once the 'season' begins. This all contributes to it being a rather closed off board that makes it difficult for somebody to dip their toes in the water, so to speak. Not that I have the time to do so, but if I were to get involved and enter a competition I'd be much, much, much more likely to join something along the lines of LotW than a bigger, round-by-round competition. I think the smaller comps have gotten a bit lost of late and I think it's part of the reason the board struggles to expand and find new quality contributors.

Anyway, I'm aware that my opinion doesn't really mean much here but thought I'd add my two cents.

I agree. It should only be IFA & NAFL. 2 is the perfect number.

To further Dan*n's point, we need to create a regular competition for just newbies. I brought this up earlier, which turned out to be Scorch's competition that NM_Mitchell is currently running. But I would be open to running a competition for just newbies and lurkers be go up against each other. Guys like Dan"n, sverik25 and the Martin brothers would be perfect for this type of competition.

I would like to propose A weekly competition where their will be a chosen soccer team and your job is to recreate a kit for them whether its a home, away, third, promotional, heritage. whatever kit you want it to be, it will be open for a week then will go to a poll for a week, winner chooses next team

pretty simple competition which i feel would be quite popular

rules
must include shirt, shorts and socks are recommended but are optional
sponsors are recommended but not compulsory
must include team logo on presentation (can be edited not fussed tbh)
1 entry minimum
4 entries maximum
league logos required

I really feel i can run a competition and run it well, would really love to do this thanks
