Pokemon AFL teams would be cool..

Basic rules:
Clubs would need to be based on towns/villages/cities that are seen in the game series and must reflect their surroundings. Ive seen it done in the form of soccer clubs, but would be cool to see what you guys come up with.

You could do multiple leagues based on the various regions lol

This would form part of the Fictional Football League.

I don't think it'll work having a league for a specific franchise. Not everyone is familiar with the Pokemon franchise, and it would be a good 12-13 since I've played Pokemon, I've forgotten most the details.

The Australian Rules Premier League (ARPL)
Anyone who wishes to enter chooses/bids for a team in the English Premier League (as of next season), and designs a home, away and alternate strip. No finals, the team on top of the ladder after every round is completed wins the ARPL. If there is enough interest, there could be a championship/2nd tier in which the top three at the end of the season get promoted to the premier league, and the bottom three in the premier league get relegated to the 2nd tier.

Nah man you have improved tenfold. I'd rather take a lower rated team and test myself.
I think it's all the same to be honest. In a competition like this, you'd have to keep the identity, meaning the Man Utd home would have to be a red jersey with white shorts. It's just the pattern that needs to be adjusted.

Already shotgunning Newcastle United if they stay up.

I'll take my team, Lester City. How good is it that we finally won the grand final?
So many premier league n00bs currently, lots of bandwagoners...

The Fizzlers of the EPL...

If this gets up, I'm reserving Arsenal as my team.

Assuming it goes forward, I'm taking Bournemouth.
