I barrack for New Zealand against Australia in cricket.

Me too. My mum is a Kiwi (my dad hates sport) and is really into the cricket, so I've grown up watching them. I really hate the Australian cricket team, I can't help it- they just piss me off. I always just want the Vic's (if there are any) to do well.

But Tim Southee is clearly the best player, clearly

Clarke is the most boring batsmen and i hate watching him bat. Katich more though.

On the cricket theme:

I got into to cricket because my parents are Indian so no prizes for guessing my dad is a mad Cricket Fan. I have always barracked for Australia much to my famlies dismay.

Anwway during our golden period and when I started following the great game circa 2001 I always loved Matthew Hayden more than any other player. I always watched Hayden bat, doesn't matter at what time I had to watch him bat. So when he was nearing his end I was almost in tears at the Sydney Test; his last. When he raised his bat in a salute I ran to my room and cried. I found out that for some reason afterwards I couldn't watch cricket because Hayden wasn't playing for them. So for about a year I lost touch with cricket and followed alot more footy.

Now I am back on the Cricket bandwagon not at a great time and I am constantly reminded of our recent failure. I sense that Shane Watson has started to become the new Hayden for me though.

No, it's definitely showing how much the team is full of w***ers and no-talent hacks. Not one of our team is capable of playing a gritty, head down innings save Kat and Hussey, even though Hussey is past it.

Watson is a petulant, arrogant prettyboy ****.

Ponting is a slimy little worm.

Clarke is the biggest downhill skier ever, has pretty much coasted his whole career and has shown nothing to suggest he should be a leader.

North is too old, has made hundreds in easy matches but turns to shit as soon as conditions turn bad.

Johnson bowls pies, all the ****ing time. And is a w***er to boot.

Hilf is ok, but breaks down worse than my mate's old Datsun.

Hauritz is a ****ing park cricketer. I've seen 14 year old off-spinners turn the ball more.

Siddle- same as Johnson.

I think T20 is your sport then. I love it when Clarke bats, has an excellent technique to watch.

I tend to like South Africa more now. From the test where Graeme Smith came out at the end to try and salvage a draw with his injured arm basically taped to his bat so he could hold it, and he almost won it. That is true grit and spirit. Won't see Michael Clarke or Ricky Ponting ever do that.

The only one I agree with you there on is North, and to a degree Hauritz, however there really aren't the stocks to replace him atm. Smith isn't ready. I love Watson, Ponting, Johnson, Hilfy and Siddle, along with most of the team bar North.
