I'm a little behind as we just got the game here in the middle east.

Well done - plenty of excuses why you shouldn't have won with the players out but you were the better side and showed a lot of class.

Congrats.

Hope to see Freo and the Crows in the GF........I think that Freo should get past Melbourne OK this week and from memory their record in Sydney isn't too bad.

Haven't won there for 10 years actually. :(

Congrats Adelaide, you were too good for us !! You have some great depth and players in your side.

We still have alot further to improve if we're to match you guys!

All the best for the finals and especially against the Eagles - Please beat them!

It isn't all over for you guys yet. You will bounce back this week, and that puts you right back in it.:thumbsu:

Great to see 2 finals at Subi next week, none in Melbourne. I can already hear the squealing from Victoria! :D

I stil, think Freo can go all the way. I'm just *****ed that they won't get a chance to knock their cocky cross town rivals out of the finals.

I hope your mob get into the grand final with that performance.

The discipline and pressure was sensational. Freo had no answer to the numbers they kept putting around the ball in the midfield and in the Freo forward line. A well executed game plan to shut down the running game Freo have thrived on over the last nine weeks.

As much as it pains me too say this but well done guys. I honestly (bias aside) thought that you would struggle too get past the Dockers but you definately proved me wrong. It seems that a grand final place is there for the taking. Good luck too ya.

.....oooh, I feel all dirty!! :( :p

agree.

isn't it odd, that there a lot of decent freo supporters out there who love their club the right way. yet, does anyone have a good word to say about their rivals?

Winning breeds arrogance which can show through in supporters.

Being humble is a much greater trait and respected a lot more by others.

Your guys were just relentless with their pressure after quarter time. I actually thought our guys did quite well to keep absorbing that amount of pressure for as long as they did. It was only a matter of time before you broke through - the Freo of old would have cracked by half time, not held on till 10 minutes into the last quarter. That for us is a positive, I suppose.

Full credit to Adelaide for just keeping at it, keeping at it, keeping at it until they found a way through. I think our guys have come a long way when it comes to absorbing such pressure, I hope they also learnt something from the way your blokes went about it.

:)

Well said.

Freo were far from disgraced but Adelaide were a bit better on the day.

There are some good West Coast supporters too. Every club has their idiiots.

just Port and Collingwood more than most;)

First of all, I'm a die-hard Port supporter, but not a Crows hater - just needed to get that out of the way early.

I enjoy a good game of footy regardless of who's playing, and bought a general admit ticket in the outer and went along on Saturday. I didn't really care who won, I just wanted to see a tight hard intense finals match. Although, if pushed, I expected to Fremantle to win, given your large injury count.

The game was a little frustrating early, but as the game went on I found myself becoming more impressed with the defensive pressure that the Crows managed to put on the Freo players. To a nuetral observer I couldn't see you losing the game once the second half started.

It was a very impressive victory considering who you were missing - well done.

One final point, which I notice has been discussed in other threads, I hope Neil Craig is too smart to be seduced by the lure of playing unfit big names if they put their hand up to play - I'm sure he is.

Good luck in two weeks. I just hope (for my sake) that it will be the Eagles - should be a cracker.

Some very good pooints here - at qtr time I thought if we could be within 2 goals at half time - we had a massive chance.

It will be interesting to see how Craigy manages possible returns.

IMO - only the captain should be risked - and only in a GF - the other injuries a too prone to reccurance - and in a final - that is not a risk worth taking
